I use RRD wicks I find for that size I would use RRD40

I use the rrd wick on my palm pillars. There is suppose to be a shell left if it is burned correctly.

lonestar candle company sells the palm wax too.

I use eco with my 464 wax. Seems to work really well for me. I am using the 6 ounce tins and use the eco 8. I had been using the eco 10 but felt that it was just too hot of a burn. No problem with hot throw. Cindy

Thanks. I did not sign the letter. I just sent it back with a screen shot of their expired trade mark and note saying I changed the name.

I am going to rename it to Kiss My Aspen. My son advise me if people ask about the name just tell them the story and they will want to buy it. lol

It did scare the crap out of me... I was worried. A very good friend of mine said I should rename the candle "Kiss My Aspen". lol

I already changed it on my website to Evergreen Fir.. I feel leary about signing the letter as it says they can still come after you no matter what for past royalities. Plus I just named it from how it was spelled on the FO bottle. I love that scent. The letter states you can't spell it any where close to how they spell it. I just wondered if anyone else had has issues like this one. Thanks for your advise. Cindy

I was so surprised to receive a letter in the mail today from "Thymes, LLC" that I have been selling a candle with their trade mark "Frasier Fir" on it... they want me to of course take if off my website which they took a screen print of and they took a screen print of a face book post where someone said they loved that candle. If I don't sign the letter and return it to them they will sue me for past royalities ... really????? When I went to their site their Frangrance is fir, sandalwood and cedar.. I get my oil from Peak and this has really taken me back.. Do I sign the letter? Even if I sign it they said they can sue me for past use... This is so crazy... Cindy

Going out to try some bees wax in the 464 to see what it looks like. The weather is hot here in FL already ... 90 this past Sunday... the candles are not happy. Me either, but I have fans... Cindy

I had started again with adding palm (glass glow) to my soy 464. I filled my presto pot full of soy and added 6 TBS of palm. the candles look really strange and I have to hit them with the heat gun to have smooth tops... too much palm??

Wine scented candles in wine glasses. I made a few last week and I know I should wait longer but burned one to try it.. Loved it.

They smell great together, one of my biggest sellers. How are you doing? I hope they have another convention this year I had a lot of fun last year.

I bought the mold and it has been great. Saves me a lot of time, in fact thinking of buying another one to use. All the blends here are great, giving me lots of ideas. Which I need help with because I am not a great blender. Thanks Cindy

I use a label on the top that is the same as my banner and a clear label on the side that has the fragrance. Cindy

Ok.. So update. It took her a week but she did pay the invoice. So now I have a lot of work to do..lol.. I didn't make anything up because I just wasn't sure she was going to come through on this one. In her email to me she said she just received candles by mail and they were melted and wondered how my lip balm and solid perfume would do... hmm. that is strange because she was going to order candles from me... I can just tell that she will complain about the lip balms. Pretty sure this will be the last time I do business with her. Thank you all for your advise. I don't know how you all stay sane doing wholesale. I like it much better when I just sell what I already have and not taking orders. Cindy

You are all so right on this one. Before I had written most of this I contacted the person that made my logo for me. She offered a really good deal. So went back to the client and told her about it and would add it to the invoice. She was very happy about it... well... you all know how this ends. Sent her the invoice with the added shipping and logo charge and logo on Sunday. Sent another email Monday night making sure she received the invoice and she said yes she would pay it tonight.. Yep... It's Wednesday and she hasn't paid it yet. So, think I will wait a week and email once more if no money no product. It cost me $25 for the logo so I will have to eat that one. But I learned a very good lesson with this one.
