  1. This was all I could find for product info. I will have to email them to see what is actually in the base.
  2. Water Clear Formulation holds up to 9% of most fragrances without clouding! Excellent air dispersal when sprayed as an air freshener. No oily mess or strong odor. Easily colored with FD&C Colorants. Suggested fragrance load for Body Splash Application 3% or less, 3 to 9% by weight for use as an air freshener base. Ingredients for use in your labeling on container.
  3. I just bought the base from candlemakers store. My understanding is you didnt have to mix anything w/ that other than your FO. OOOPs!!! Good thing i was making just for myself. I will see if i can copy and paste the product info that I used. So, just as an FYI to me, what is that stuff.
  4. What a great thread!! I really enjoyed the reading! I use soy, 444 and 464. I like that it cleans easily w/ hot soap and water, comes in flakes, and I dont get the black soot on my walls like I used to w/ paraffin candles. However, the paraffin candles I was using were store bought, not handmade, so maybe there was half the problem, LOL I have thought about playing around w/ paraffin and seeing if I liked it any better than my soy, just for comparison purposes, but then in my area the paraffin isnt cheap so I just havent done it. Also, everyone that I make candles for seems to like what I do now, so "if it isnt broke, dont fix it" right? Thanks again for such a great thread topic:)
  5. I thought of another GREAT cierra FO butterscotch brulee! This is Super STRONG in soy! LOVED it!
  6. I didnt mix w/ cyclo, I dont even know what that is??? I just make the room sprays for myself. I have used Lots of cierras oils. They are great oils, imo. Some of the other ones that I really like are Grandmas kitchen, super strong cider scent, this is the best cider scent I have come across. At wix end has the same and is just as good, fyi. I also like cierras blueberry cobbler, lilly of the valley, clean cotton, pink flamingo, pink grapefruit, jazzberry (this is awesome), coffee bean, hazelnut capp, capp brulee, the list goes on and on...... The only reason I started buying from there was because when I got started I had bought a bunch of stuff from someone and most of her oils came from there. If you buy $100 or more in stuff (not everything included in that) then you get free shipping! I think the only scents that didnt do as well in my wax were the carrot cake and creme brulee from there. they smell great in bottle, but I couldnt get them to throw as much as I would like, in candles that is. Tarts were ok, but still not as strong as I like.
  7. I have Harvest Pumpkin FO from Cierras candles and made it in room spray!!! It smells soooooo great!!! So far the scent is lasting too! I used the spray base from Candlemakers store. I made a 2 oz bottle and scented it w/ 1.5 ml of oil. I LOVE pumpkin scents, sooo just wanted to share this w/ everyone. Have a great day!

  9. I really like 464 and 444. I use w/ and w/out CO, depending on what scent I am using. I am able to pick this up too. I buy 5 cases at a time. I think I will have to start buying more though!!! Going through it too fast!
  10. How funny it is that I just came across this and VERY recently am experiencing a similar thing! I was doing refills for my sister and someone else, well, my sister was buying so many that I recommended to her that she should just make them! I would tell her anything and help her w/ whatever, she's my sister. Then, I have someone else that wanted to make their own also, she didnt buy as many from me, but anyway, so I told her I would get her a box of wax the next time I went and got a big load. I didnt mind that at all. I even offered to help her w/ tips, but I did find myself wondering how much info I should pass along... she mentioned she was also going to make them for her family and friends, some of whom buy from me already???? I have been given soooooooo much help and advice on here, and from other resources, that I feel like I "owe" it to pass the info along, BUT I also did TONS of hours of research and testing, and all the money and time i have invested in that wasnt cheap! THEN, last night, I get a message on my FB from someone that I think I went to school w/??? asking me where I got my info on making candles or something to that effect? This person isnt even a "friend' on FB??? I havent responded yet????? I was going to say online since that's where 99% of my info has come from. I have talked to other candle makers and read some books at the library, but they were so dated that the online info was better. So, after all that my position on this is that I think its great to share the knowledge, especially since so many did for me, GREAT Big Thank you to you ALL, BUT I think the person asking should still have to do the footwork and not expect it all to just be "handed" to them. ok.... so now that I have typed out my novel, I'm going to work:)
  11. I like cool water from cierras and euphoria from just scent
  12. Ya, Just as I was typing that out, and thinking "great, one more thing I have to fix, change, make better, blah, blah, blah, ....." and it just popped in my head! Ya, it ties in great, I dont know why I didnt think of it when I first started making them! LOL:) I am glad this post came about and I happen to get on here and see it:)
  13. Those are awesome. Put anything that I have done to shame!
  14. I am crazy/nuts about candles~ cant get enough of them ( thats why i started making them, I was spending tooooo much $ on them) So, I just changed the C in Candle to a K and went w/ Kandlenutz, and threw the Z in at the back just make it more creative and give it a prim twist, since thats they kind of candles I LOVE!
  15. I guess I am in trouble then b/c I have been calling mine Kandlenutz tarts! Maybe I should consider a name change! I didnt know that they had rights to a word that has been around longer than them! Hmmmm, now I have that to add to my "to do" list! WONDERFUL! Wonder if i could call them "kandlenutz Tartz" Anyone know about legal consequences if I just changed the spelling?????
  16. http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Coys-Kandlenutz-Candles/345465269803?ref=ts Here is my link! I LOVE having my fan page! It has brought soooo much business. My may sale is actually for all of our facebook fans! FB has opened so many doors for us I thought it would be nice to give back, so I did a few different little specials. I like that i can network w/ other candlemakers/ crafters. Its nice to see what everyone one else is doing w/ their fan pages. Im always open to new ideas! We are busier now than we were at christmas time!
  17. I get country spice (changed to country store, its a spicy clove type scent, great seller for me), spiced cranberry (i get this in b grade, does fine), candy corn, gingerbread man, maple sugar is great, maple toddy not so much, i couldnt get that to smell after curing for months! or atleast it didnt smell strong enough for me, lol oh, I get apple creek too, and it does great in the b grade.
  18. Thats frustrating! I feel your pain! Good luck!
  19. That looks so nice and big! I LOVED getting out of the kitchen, and having everything in once place, but my area isnt nearly as big!
  20. that looks awesome! I would love to try something w/ that look! Is it all the same scent?
  21. I bought some stuff very similar to that at goodwill about a week ago. I paid 1.39 for each mold. I only bought 3, thats all I really thought I would use, but they were all 1.39 each!
  22. I always wondered the same thing as well. The only other active ones I had found were by suppliers. So, glad I found this one first!!!
