1. LOVE the cupcake one are these for sale in your shop?
2. thanks i had so much fun doing them, im going to start my second dancer, a goth ballerina in black and red
3. those are cute, ive made a few but when you try to use them, if you use cotton yarn they get so dang heavy and they dont lather up. but they sure make cute deco for the bathroom
4. we make these for fiesta all the time. floral wire or long pipe cleaners twisted together, fake flowers, cut them from the stem but leave enough so that you can wrap around the base or even hot glue them then wrap with floral tape, wrap again with garland, like stars or whatever else you can find, its that shiny garland wire and then tie curly ribbons onto the back
5. here are the first two crochet dolls ive ever done Elsbeth the dancer and Suzette my big beautiful lady (she's not done yet she still needs her jewelry) I still need to get doll stands for each of them
6. ummm...wow! at least they didnt have a vajayjay along with those. :undecided (i think poo soap is funny)
7. these are the magic bath mitts see how they are really compacted then in water they open up. Might be more fun for a 4 yr old and alot safer than a small toy. You could always make bath bombs without a toy in them and toss in a bath mitt too.
8. i dont know if you guys have these in italy... but its the childrens washclothes that are very compacted into little squares and once they get wet they expand to a full size. they almost look like a little paper square, but are actually cloth with characters on them. I know i buy them at our dollar tree for my son, the last one had disney characters on it. i'll have to see if i can locate a pic so you know what im talkin about lol theyre called magic washcloths...they come in little 2x2 squares or round
9. its not a bomb base, its just a soap base so it was fairly easy to get them to stay together. it takes a miracle and a half for me to get a soap topping to stick to a bath bomb base LOL
10. i brush my cupcake soaps with mica and it looks wonderful, and it sticks really well. I have a very detailed flower mold, if i dont want a solid color on the tips of the petals, i pour a color into the mold, let it set for about a minute then pour the excess out let it dry spray with alcohol then fill with my main color. you can even try "painting" with melted soap, melt a small amount color it, then dab it into your mold with a paintbrush, spray it with alcohol then pour your main color another technique is to pour the colored in a thin layer and then "scratch" out with a tooth pick desired lines or "veins" in the petal, spray with alcohol then pour your main color

amt of FO

its usually 1 oz/lb depending on the strength of your fo it could be .5 oz/lb 29.57 ml = 1 oz
13. pour really slow and low into your mold, dont stir it to much or you will just get tons of tiny air bubbles gently tap the mold on the counter then spray the top of the soap with alcohol, you will see the bubbles rise up and spray again. but i think its mainly from over stir...you have to be easy on that with clear mp
14. i think it really depends on your fo..how strong it is, some of mine are super strong and i will only use 1/2 oz /lb some are on the lighter side so i will use 1oz/lb. remember you can always use herbs and spices to naturally color your soaps. its really like anything else you would make, experiment, experiment, test and test until you find what works for you. and just plain have fun with it, if its not to your liking, melt it down again and try something different.
15. i have 4 sets of 2 dishclothes done, i will make a couple more sets and get them out to you.:smiley2:
16. most definitely. I do this for my kids when they go on over night trips so much easier to pack and no leaking of body wash.
17. i did the grape pop last night too !!! dontcha just love how it shimmers
18. i start with 1/4 tsp too. i use essentials by catalina base, and they color it beautifully, you can mix the powder mica into castor or glycerin, or take a little melted soap out and mix it until there are no clumps. If im making a big batch i just sprinkle it on the unmelted soap and then burst for 30 secs stir, burst until its all mixed in, if i want the color to be darker i add another 1/4 tsp. i do believe the pop micas are eye, lip, body safe and not to mention i love the shimmer they give off in the soap.
19. i would love to help out, maybe some crochet dish clothes? i have tons of cotton i havent used yet. just let me know if that is ok, i would make 3 in a stack tied with ribbon.
20. the pvc pipe and wood dowel - it works really well, i love mine, you can take all frustrations out i love the tablets more than a round bomb, and i think it came with 2 dowels, one has a domed end so you get like a little bubble on each end of the bomb, very cute, my kids love these especially in bubble gum scent.
21. im a crochet fanatic but i love my looms, theyre so easy and fast when you want to make a scarf or hat. Ive even made knitted cupcakes on mine, sooo cute. make infant hats for charity if you dont know what to make with them, i believe there are alot of sites for this, you can just google "knitting for charity" i know that alot of cancer patients love getting the knitted skull caps, also a good use of the loom.
22. i use tkb mica in my mp soap, the trick is to sprinkle it on BEFORE you melt the soap or it will get clumpy, but it is very pretty in mp especially clear
23. wow those all look great, wonderful job on perfecting your soapy icing!!! adding some cocoa butter helps too. I think its just a matter of finding and experimenting with ingredients that work for you.
24. thanks all the fish is my own pattern, i have my big aquarium in my comp room and i thought i would put some fish on the desk LOL
25. try this ...its very very simple and gives the basic idea behind just a regular crochet hat
