  1. Congrats to both you gals! I was thinking the same thing re: the gas prices. People most likely won't be vacationing far from home this year but hopefully will participate in more local things. We can only hope!
  2. Barbara. another fantastic salt bar! Love the color and the scent will certainly wake you up in the morning!
  3. Rae, love the swirls in the greek adonis, they certainly fit with the name. The strawberry rhubard compote sounds interesting, love the color you got with it. And I agree, that is more fun that yard work!
  4. They all look fantastic, Scented, even your boobs!
  5. Well if you were attempting to step up your game, you certainly were successful! Beautiful swirls and I love that green!
  6. What a shame the first one went dark on you, it would have been beautiful if it stayed the original colors. The second one is gorgeous! Love the extra touch of the 24K. I made sure I got some of the 24K in my last order, .... just haven't been able to use it yet.
  7. All of them look fantastic, but I also am partial to #5. Also love the look of OT& L Jasmine Mint. I see a fish in the second row, left hand bar. It's white with a purple gill line. As always, Meridith, your soaps are beautiful and I know your customers will love them!
  8. Love the color and scent combo! I didn't know it was possible to make a 100% shea soap either. Am anxious to hear how it lathers and what it feels like on the skin.
  9. Woohoo! Your first salt bar! Love those colors and swirls, you done good!
  10. They look wonderful! Beautiful colors!
  11. Donna, it looks good to me! The first thing I thought of when I saw the soap was CAMMO! You know, the blue/purple fabric. Maybe you could name it something like "Clean n Cammo".
  12. Ducky, even though they didn't turn out the color you wanted, and the other problems you battled, they look pretty good from here! And yes, like Barb said, add the fo last. I can't wait to see your next batch!
  13. Barb! Those are fantastic!! (yep, I'm still trying to catch up, lol). Glad to hear you had a great time with Kristy there, I bet it was oodles of fun!
  14. Love the color, I bet it smells delish too!
  15. Vio, you nut! Glad to hear you're not going to do this.
  16. Good luck Ducky! I can't wait to see how they turn out
  17. Lick Me All Over is a great fo from SOS, along with Butt Naked, Vanilla Bean, Cucumber Melon, Poison, Mocha Cappacino, Sandalwood & Amber, Oatmeal, Milk & Almond, Mandarin, Exotic Seabreeze and I could go on, but ya know, the harder you try to think, the blanker your brain gets
  18. Oooooooh, I like! Love the colors and the swirls are great!
  19. Meridith, what does the Leather and Lace smell like? I'm thinking that's one I'd like to try out, did you get it from OT & L's?
  20. Avocado oil is excellent for mature, dry skin, so is Emu oil. Kukui Nut oil is excellent also and is used for sunburns and chapped skin, it is high in linoleic too. 10% to 20% in your soap recipe makes an outstanding soap. Jojoba oil is a great one too. So is cocoa butter, canola oil, sunflower oil. HTH
  21. Looking good! The scent sounds divine too, I love raspberry. I can't wait to see your dots and heart swirls with your regular recipe. I keep forgetting about the dotting thing too. Maybe that's what I need to do for my Lovespell fo. I've been sitting here trying to figure out what colors I wanted for that fo.
  22. The colors look great! Looks like you're going to have some great marbling and swirls there. Can't wait to see cuts
  23. Beautiful bars, Jennie! They are so nice and white!
