  1. So far today I have contacted, no responses yet... Belle-Aire, again Arylessence Alpha Aromatics Aromatec Carrubba FFS Chemia Corp Bell FF I am looking to have a few duped and resell them, so I'm looking to order in big quanities, use them for my products & bottle them to resell. So I'd like to be able to buy the fragrances for less than $10/lb so I can resell them at a reasonable price. I know Belle-Aire oils are about $6-$10/lb but I don't know if they dupe/type. I don't want to go much more than that since I couldn't resell them at a reasonable price. I hope I'm making sense.
  2. Thanks! I am still waiting to hear back from them! I emailed every fragrance manu. I could find and I have only heard back from a few, all of which don't type/duplicate.
  3. I think MC is no good either. I was not impressed by their fos, however I'm the only person who thinks that! Everyone else just raves about their fo. Their clamshells make my tarts smell like skunks, I think most of their f.o.s are skunky too. Everyone else will disagree with me I'm sure! But you and me may be the only ones!! It's funny too because MC & CS get f.o.s from Belle-Aire, one would think they should be the same quality. My guess is they cut the strength.
  4. I don't know the minimum, I guess my orders have always been above it. Shipping is UPS and slow as always. They get the orders filled 1-2 days, I'm on the west coast and it takes about 10-14 but that's shippings fault not Jackel.
  5. but I'd still be paying retail and wouldn't be able to turn around and re-sell it. I need a manufactor, then I can turn around and re-sell it. Edited: I should've put in my email I want a manufactor not a middle man supplier.
  6. I posted this message in the Fragrance Discussion a few months back but didn’t get much response. I’m hoping I will get more here. I am wanting to get a scent duplicated, what companies do this?. The only supplier I know of that does that is Royal, send 1 oz and $250, then buy at least 5 lbs of it. I was wondering if anyone has done this before and how the results were or other companies that offer this service. I have contacted so far: Belle-Aire, no response Orchidia, no response Cosmo, doesn’t duplicate IFT, doesn’t duplicate anymore I was told I could send a sample to Taylors or FBD but I want to exhaust my efforts with a supplier first, since I‘d like to resell the oil as well. I know some places have minimums but not a big deal since I’d resell some of it. TIA Amy

  8. That is awesome! I wonder why they don't have that info on their website? or in a newsletter? I don't have any custom scents from them so I've always just ordered online.
  9. I'd like to know that too. Someone was posting earlier that they're prices listed online weren't right, that they've gone up, I think they may not be offering online orders anymore? I was wondering the same thing and was thinking of posting too. I don't have a sales rep since I'd order online but I think they're trying to go a more "high end" route and offering scents through a rep? I don't know but I would sure think if the cart or shopping site was getting redone they'd've mentioned it on the site or in an email. The last email I got was from the sales rep for their organic essential oils, nothing about a new site or ordering online. I know I would order more if I could see a scent catalog and could order online, reps are just a hassle. I was also considering emailing Carrie or Megan and finding out that way. Someone else PLEASE chime in and tell me my thoughts on this are all wrong!!!
  10. My shrink bags don't stink and I have the nose of a bloodhound, well pretty near. I get mine from: www.papermart.com
  11. Yes it is very easy to use. I've used PM Platinum and am now using Print Shop Publisher Pro, all by the same company all work them same. If you've never used a computer program like that, the manual is helpful and I believe they have a step-by-step tutorial as well on the menu page. You can always start with one of their templates and just add your own info to get the hang of it, then you can make your own from scratch.
  12. I use Print Shop Pro Publisher v 22 they have catalog (booklet) templates or you can make your own, really user friendly to make and import your own photos etc. I also have Microsoft Publisher but IMHO Print Shops is much easier and has much more features too, I even took a Microsoft Publisher computer class and I still think PS is much better. I have Printmaster platinum but it doesn't have a booklet template, you could still make one using a couple half-fold card templates. It's on sale for $69 on their site. Here is a link with features, you can also see Printmaster software on that site too. http://www.broderbund.com/jump.jsp?itemID=1660&mainPID=1660&itemType=PRODUCT

  14. I use Calwax but not the wax you're asking about. No joke about soy being expensive here! Doesn't really matter the brand it seems to run at least $20 a case more from west coast suppliers than east coast, and then if it's shipped!! I get the wax from Swans in Tacoma. I use Calwax CW30, sorry can't help you but feel your shipping pain!
  15. I know CS & Genwax both get fos from Belle-Aire so that would explain the scents smelling the same.
  16. When I had a gas stove I would put a pie tin over the top of my double boiler pan, let the tin warm up and you're ready to level it.
  17. That explains it! I don't mind waiting for oils, I buy from RA, LOL. My thing is I placed an order online and got no email, no order confirmation, no shipping confirmation, after 9 days waiting. At least when I order from other suppliers I get a confirmation email immediately after placing my order, then I get an email with an estimated ship date, then I get a shipping confirmation email. But no contact until I emailed wondering where my order was, not so great, and even then it was an email from USPS, not OT. I guess I just like more peace of mind!
  18. I just placed an order with them a few weeks back. I had horrible CS from them!!! After 9 days of waiting for any kind of acknowledgment from them, I tried calling their # listed on the website, no answer, so I email and ask where my order is at, an hour later I get a shipping notice from USPS . No email no call no nothing from them as to why it would take 11 days to ship stuff all of 45 miles!!! I will not be ordering from them, I thought I'd try a place close by but their stuff ain't worth it IMO, plus I couldn't do a pick up at their warehouse, since I‘d have to pay for shipping anyway mine as well get it from someplace else. Even inside the package there wasn't an invoice! Already emailed them to complain of their customer service and tried calling again but know answer from email and nobody ever answered their phone. I sure thought I’d get my order lackaday split since I’m just a county over…..
  19. BTW, you're calculator is right, it's $4.60 to ship upto 1 lb, they raised rates a few months back when they raised postage. Still way cheaper than UPS or FEDEX.
  20. You may want to consider using flat rate boxes. You can order the boxes online for free and they will ship to your house Priority Mail, also free. You can also pick them up at your local PO but if you'll be doing lots of shipping you can order a larger quantities online. The flat rate boxes ship for $8.95, there are 2 sizes 11" X 8.5" X 5.5" & 11-7/8" x 3-3/8" x 13-5/8" , max weight is 75lbs. Really nice way to save $$ on boxes. HTH
  21. Along those lines, I've heard great reviews for vistaprint.com, depending on quantity vista is much cheaper than an office supply place. If you use a local place make sure you save your borchure on a CD, the quality is so much better than using a copy. Glossy paper is a PITA with an ink-jet printer no matter what brand paper you use. When I had an ink-jet I would slide each page as it printed and gingerly lay them out to dry beore I printed the other side or even tried to touch them further. I did break down and get a laser printer, it has a duplexer so I can print on both sides, no flipping. If you ever consider getting a laser printer, you can get crazy deals right before a new model hits the market, around Feb. I got a $1200 Xerox Phaser 8550DP for $450 and free shipping from Costco. The Phaser ink is nice too, no cartridge the ink is a solid block, no mess.
