  1. I don't use 415 but if you do a search on here for 415 or gb 415 you will find several post. Good luck.
  2. If you go to her home page and scroll to the bottom, there is this message: 12/4/2006 POWER OUTAGE On Thursday November 30th there was a major ice, snow & sleet storm here in the MIDWEST. I have been without power since THURSDAY. We finally got out power on Monday afternoon. I am working as fast I can to get everything back on track.... please expect delays as I have NO CONTROL over the power company and this outage that has put me behind. Thank you for you patience and understanding, Jody
  3. Buy one of those steel wire type rolling racks. Here is the link to the one at Sam's Club http://www.samsclub.com/shopping/navigate.do?dest=5&item=168602 Says it will hold 600 pounds per shelf. Good luck.
  4. I am testing the 6-7 ounce tureen jar with KY 125. I started off using two LX 16. Did not get hot enough burn so I pulled the LX 16's and put in two LX 18. Stronger scent throw. After about one hour I noticed that I did not smell it as strong so I went and looked at the candle and one of the wicks had submerged under the melted wax. Did this happen because the jar is so short or did I do something wrong or maybe because the wick was not stuck to the jar and it floated out? I really like this jar but man it is hard to wick.
  5. I usually use 1.5 oz. FO per pound of KY125 wax. I am using KY's parasoy votive/tart wax in clam shells and was curious if you can cut back on the amount of FO you use for tarts vs. the amount in a container candle? I'm thinking of starting with 1.25 per pound. Any suggestions? Thanks.
  6. Looking for reviews from Soycandle.com on Christmas Splendor, Christmas Memories and Holiday Wreath in soy wax. Thanks.
  7. I am trying to wick the 11 oz. tumbler that is right at 3” wide. I am using KY125 (soy/cottonseed) wax, with dye. I have tried wicking single with CD 14, 16, 22, 60 and 62 cotton, and double wicked with HTP 83’s. When I get back from work I am going to pull the HTP 83’s and put in two HTP 104’s. I have a couple suppliers close to me that sell LX, Zinc, RRD, ECO and paper core wicks if I need to try something different then what I have. Does anyone have any suggestions on single or double wicking this 11 oz. tumbler that is 3” wide? Thank you.
  8. I want to purchase three different potpourri blends from Stone Stew and cannot for the life of me make up my mind. I'm leaning toward the Christmas Cheer blend scented with Vintage Tradition, the Oh Holy Night blend scented with Singing Angels and the Apple Spice blend scented with either Apple 'n Spice or Apple Brown Betty. If you have tried any of these, what are your thoughts? Any suggestions on different blends or scents? Thank you for taking the time to read my post.
  9. Someone on one of the message boards told me about a lady on eBay that sold soap clam shells and I have misplaced the information. Seems like it was 100 for $20.00. I found a couple people selling them on eBay but would prefer getting them from the person who was recommended to me. If you are on this board, would you please PM me the information again. Thank you.
  10. I can't remember their city and state. If someone will let me know I will look up their telephone number and call them.
  11. When you click on it, it comes up IDK web hosting or something like that. Has MMS changed their web address?
  12. I am looking at purchasing malibu tubes but see that there is a soft kind and then a clear one that looks harder. Can someone tell me the difference in mailbu tubes and which type you think is the best? Thank you.
  13. Those of you that use the 8 oz. tureen jar do you use a label either on the lid, jar or a hang tag? I have not seen the jar in person yet but I'm going to purchase some to test and curious which looks best. The jar looks kind of small on-line so I'm thinking a hang tag would be almost too large. Thank you.
  14. I don't use either but you might get more responses if you post over on KY's message board. Good luck.
  15. I am going to try selling potpourri again this fall and want to sell refresher oils with it. I'm thinking of half ounce amber bottles but not sure if I should go with sprayers or dropper bottles. Those of you that sell refresher oils, which do you think people like the best, sprayer or dropper tops? Thank you.
  16. Not sure about the $2.50 charge but you could e-mail or call them to find out. The times I have ordered from them they have been really helpful.
  17. Ok, maybe I'm not looking at this the right way but why would you need to use scents that you normally would leave white? I have had request for things like green cake bake. Couldn't you just not put dye in the wax? Just a thought. KY has a FO that is Frosted Snowflake. Good luck.
  18. I don't use tins so I'm not sure how deep you are talking about. Depending on where you are located (shipping), Aztec (Knoxville, TN) has 4 oz. tins with clear lids $7.95/dozen. Here is the link: http://www.buywax.com/product.asp?specific=jrepqno8
  19. CC on Maui, thank you for the suggestion. I am going to call them and ask about that. Great idea!
  20. Sure, I will post any tips I think would be helpful. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that one more person will sign-up so they will not cancel the class since there has to be four registered.
  21. I would have never known about it if my brother who no longer lives with me had not received the brochure of classes at my house. I just called about it and found out that four people have to sign up for it or they will cancel it. Once I sign up there will be three of us. Sure hope a fourth person signs up.
  22. Just wanted to share info about a class I am thinking of taking thru the Louisville, KY high school system and thought maybe if there was anyone on here from the area that you might be interested. What caught my eye was the part about design and set up booth. I am not very good in this area. It is Art Marketing II class and the description says gain even more insight about marketing your own creations. Pricing your work will be a focus of this class. Learn where the best arts and crafts shows are held and find out how to design and set up a booth. It is one evening for four weeks and the cost is $89. Class starts on Thursday, November 2nd. Their website is: www.lifelonglearning4u.com and telephone # is (502) 485-3400. I know I could be wasting my money, but if I can get some help on setting my booth up it may be worth it. Sorry for being so long.
  23. I am looking for a plastic triangle box with lid that you could put the tablets that you make with the table maker in. I didn't see them on Nashville Wraps website. Anyone know who sells them? Also, I use the 8 oz. 12-sided jar and 16 oz. apotho jar. Will 2 of the 12-sided jars or 1 of the 16 oz. apotho jar fit in the cub plastic shopper bag? I would like to get in on the Nashville Wrap co-op. Thank you.
