  1. How lucky are you! You could have been out for hours with wax on the burner!! Blimey, I'm glad you were ok. Any concussion?? How many fingers am I holding up? *lol*. Seriously though, don't do that again! Anjie,x.
  2. THE VOICES IN MY HEAD TOLD ME TO DO IT!!! Anjie,x.
  3. WOW! Those are VERY impressive!! I have never ever seen anything like that before, where on earth did you get those moulds? Anjie,x.
  4. And you just KNOW that is going to happen!!! I've reached that stage already, its insane but I would rather order a 16oz bottle, from the States, of an f/o that I don't know for sure that I am going to like, than buy a little bottle and pay the shipping again if I really do like it I've only ever chosen one that I don't really like OOB, but I haven't put that in wax yet, I may change my mind. Has anyone tried Cranberry Yuzu???? Anjie,x.
  5. If you bought cocaine like I buy fragrance oil then you would be called an addict! My name is Anjie and I am a fragrance oil addict AND I don't have any intention of giving it up Anjie,x.
  6. OMG I didn't mean to upset you, I apologise hun. That's twice in as many days that I have had to apologise on here :undecided Don't know whats the matter with me, i'll keep my mouth shut in future. *lol* I can't give you any advice on pouring big orders because I haven't had to do that yet, but you seem to have had some good advice already. Chin up, cheer up and get pouring Anjie,x.
  7. Thank you soo much! Off to email you now. Anjie,x.
  8. Well if W'n'W doesn't want to go to Oz then I BLOODY WILL! I live in Kent (the garden of England ) I don't have Robin Hood but I have a Tesco's up the road and a pub on every corner! Castles and stately homes galore, and we have Chavs *lol* Come see my candles, i'll leave the key under the door mat cause i'll be sunning my white arse on Bondi Beach! Now, after hijacking this thread something rotten, GracieJo, I'm not going to jump down your throat but please listen to the people who are trying to tell you something here. I have been making candles a year(ish) and I am very confident in my candes. Lets face it I have been burning my own candles for that long now because I make them for me. If I sold them I wouldn't be seeing how they burn. I think you need that time burning the candles you make before you can have complete confidence in them. Can you honestly say that you don't sit there at night and think 'omg how are those candles performing? Are they smoking badly? Are those people going to come back to me and say "those candles you sold me constantly flickered"?'. Do you honestly have complete confidence in your candles being perfect?? I've given candles to close friends and family and at first they all came back with something that could be improved on, so I improved it. Thats how I learned. If you are still learning then you shouldn't be selling basically. I do, I know my candles AND I have a website, my husband got me it for christmas because he can see how well my candles burn, but its not getting used until I get good insurance and get business minded :rolleyes2 My candles are ready...but i'm not *lol* Anjie,x.
  9. Thanks Grama, but I really didn't want to buy a base if I don't have to. I was wondering if I could dilute the f/o somehow. Plus I am in the UK so ordering that kind of thing from the States would cost me a fortune! :rolleyes2 Anjie,x.
  10. I have just searched and found nothing that answers by question. I found info on reed diffuser bases that you can buy, but what I am after is making my own diffuser oil from the f/o's that I have here. What do I need to add to these to make them suitable for reeds? I read somewhere to mix 3 parts f/o to 7 parts DPGF, then read somewhere else that this is bad because its too thick. I've also read about mixing IPM with the f/o to dilute it. Which is the best way to go here? Brain freeze!! Anjie,x.
  11. PERFECT as ever Donita! Your candles never cease to amaze me! Anjie,x.

  17. I thought that *lol* a hollow tube can't displace THAT much liquid wax, maybe a regular mould is being used one with a bottom on it. Anjie,x.
  18. I have some micro hard and wondered what I should be doing with it *lol* I've had a bit of melting just around the glass tealight holder on one of my Forever's and thought I would make another one with some of this added. There is no instructions with this micro I have, do I add a percentage to my normal paraffin pillar wax? Do I still add my usual percentage of stearing and most importantly will I still get rustic????? TIA. Anjie,x.

  23. I have just recieved my first silicone mould, and its soo cute A few things I wanted to ask though ...... The mould is split down one side, I know this is for easy removal but what do I do with it when I pour? Do I have to tape it up and won't it leak?? I know I shouldn't use stearing in these and should use vybar instead but can I use fragrance oil in them????? TIA Anjie,x.
  24. Does anybody get their f/o's from these?? I usually place an order and pay by paypal and then they email me letting me know the shipping cost. I haven't heard from them yet after placing order on 20th November and emailing them twice since then. Just wondered if they are having problems or not trading anymore or something, then I can try and get my money back through paypal before its too late. Ta very muchly. Anjie,x.
  25. Ahhh so they are a pretty lid, yes? Anjie,x.
