  1. Thanks so much for the help, ditzy. The angels look great. I'll be heading to town either today or tomorrow so will have to swing by Michaels and see what they have. My creativity runs more to soaping and herbal concoctions but my baby is very excited about trying this after seeing Grumpy Girl's post on it. Will definitely have to show her your angels too. Thanks again!
  2. My daughter is interested in learning to work with polymer clay. I know nothing about the stuff and was hoping for some info as to what may be a good type to purchase for a beginner. Any help will be appreciated. TIA! Rena
  3. BCN's Gardenia is a huge seller for me in soap. My customers claim it smells dead-on. I'm not a gardenia fan so don't trust my own judgement with it, but as for my customers, I can barely keep it in stock. I use Peaks Gardenia for my B&B products. HTH! Rena
  4. I do a HP goat milk bar, adding golden jojoba after the cook and it's wonderful. I throw in a little shea and/or mango depending on my mood , and switch up on my nut oils. I do love apricot kernel and macadamia. Rena
  5. Ingredients listed on my container are Glycine Soja, Glycerin, Water, Stearic Acid, Emulsifying Wax, Tocopherol Acetate, Cyclomethicone,Propylene Glycol, Diazolidinyl Urea, Methylparaben and Propylparaben. After talking to Steve, we do make a few additions to the base before bottling. HTH Rena
  6. Personally, I love the natural scent of an oatmeal honey soap. For some reason, it always reminds me of cookies . I do, on occasion, make a special batch for a preferred customer, lightly scented with lavender eo. Rena
  7. This time of year I'm loving BCS's Carrot Cake, Sissie's Sugar Cookies & Banana Nut Bread, along with Peak's Brown Sugar & Fig and Home For the Holidays.
  8. I can't say enough good things about my Wickman trimmer. I haven't tried selling them myself, but have talked to several candlemakers who resell them and they seem to average around $11-$12.50. I paid $12 for mine. Rena
  9. I make a soap using the unrefined cocoa butter, peppermint eo and cocoa powder that's yummy. Smells just like a York peppermint patty . Rena

  12. Pouring up Monkey Farts, Butt Naked, Clean Cotton, Mountain Lake, Cappuccino Hazelnut, Creme Brulee, OMH & Lavender for wholesale re-stock. Then back to work getting ready for the fall Main To Main show, Holiday Memories and X-mas on False River.
  13. Yes, as Meredith said, it's one fragrance. I use CB135 and get awesome hot/cold throw with it. It also soaps up beautifully. Rena
  14. Love their Celtic Moonspice, Vanilla Crunch, Little Black Dress, Yuzu and Lavender Apples & Oak. Rena
  15. Nothing in the pot this weekend. We'll be doing the La. Road Show, Saturday. Not much notice for this one but I'm as prepared as I'll ever be. I'm really excited to see the response to the new scents I've been testing to add to our line, especially the Brown Sugar & Fi and, White Rose Bergamot. The rest of the weekend, I'll spend helping DH pack. He'll be leaving early next week for a job in Montana. Good thing I have lots on hand to keep busy, with fall/holiday shows just around the corner. Best of luck to everyone with your weekend shows! Rena
  16. Who can pick just one ? It would be between Provence Aire from Souther Soapers, Vanilla Crunch from AH/RE, Lime Basil & Mandarin from Solas & Wildberry Zinger Tea from BCN. All in CB135. Rena
  17. Lavender Apples & Oak and Yuzu are excellent as well. Rena
  18. Preparing for the Louisiana Road Show next weekend. Will be going over my stock for a final check to see if there's anything I may have missed doing the first time around. And definitely will be finding time to pour up the sample of Peak's Brown Sugar & Fig I got in my order, yesterday. It smells so yummy! Rena
  19. 1 T. per pound here as well. Rena
  20. I've been using Peak's Gingerbread in soy, with great results, but recently poured up a sample of Southern Soaper's Iced Gingerbread in my CB 135 and it's amazing. A wonderful true gingerbread scent and the scent throw at .5 oz. pp is excellent. Rena
