    I agree with the lemongrass. It colors the soap a lovely pale yellow on it's own and the calendula petals show up beautifully in it. Rena

    I'm definitely a morning soaper. Dh is off working early in the morning and DD sleeps late so I have lots of blissfully peaceful soaping time then. By the time she gets up and the dogs get underfoot, I have several batches in mold and have started on the mountain of housework that magically pops up every day. Funny since no one seems to ever dirty a dish or piece of clothing . Rena

    When you mentioned welts, I thought about coconut also. It's the one constant in all my bars and every time DD uses one she breaks out in welts and itches something fierce. One day she grabbed one of my salt bars instead of the store-bought brand she's been using and no welts. I was worried for a bit, knowing that it was roughly 80% coconut and waited for a reaction, but none. She has been using the salt bars for over a year now and couldn't be happier. I tried to get her to experiment with a castile bar, but she'd have no part of it. The salt bars have won her heart . Rena

    A new batch of moisturizer with mango butter and yummy Monoi. Need to order out more pumice for foot scrubs. And if time presents itself, I need to whip up soap in White Tea & Ginger, Monkey Farts & a chamomile tea based batch I call Gaia's Blessing. Rena

    I'm also not familiar with Daystar, though I've been considering trying out a few of their scents. As far as Peaks goes, I'd suggest; Brown Sugar & Fig Honeysuckle Pink Sugar Home For the Holidays (I rename it, a huge seller year round) Clean Cotton

    I might start by indulging myself with my fave monoi/kpangnan batch, then an eo batch w/ peppermint, spearmint, eucalyptus, tea tree, lavender and maybe a tiny bit of lemongrass.

    Throwing together a batch of foot scrub if I can find where I hid the ground pumice from myself :rolleyes2 . Redesigning some labels and looking into changing my candle jars. Might even work in a batch or two of soap . Rena

    I can't give comparison as I've only used the one from Nature's Garden. My customers love it though. Rena

    I've dealt with them several times. Never any problem with the items shipped, but shipping itself took anywhere from 2 weeks to a month. I finally moved on to other suppliers. Rena

    I brew it triple strength and use in place of water for my green tea oatmeal soap. It comes out medium to dark tan. I also add a sprinkling of green tea leaves and lightly scent with lemongrass eo. Rena

    I'm not overly fond of Pink Sugar (Peaks), but couldn't imagine removing it from my line. It's a top seller in everything, candles, lotion, butters and have just added it in soap (thanks to BCN's vanilla stabilizer), and it's moving like hotcakes there as well. Rena

    How to choose, how to choose ........ I guess we'd have to go with; Oatmeal Milk & Honey (seems to sell like hotcakes, regardless of season) Honeysuckle (Peaks) Creme Brulee (Peaks) Citrus Splash (BCS) Clean Cotton (Peaks) or Mountain Lake (BCN)...so I couldn't choose between these two :rolleyes2 Rena

    BCS has a Lemon Verbena that's dead on. I've gone as far as to compare it to the lemon verbena I grow . Rena
