  1. Thanks so much for the suggestions. I'm compiling a list of my faves to choose from, so keep 'em coming . Rena
  2. After getting repeated requests for an Almond Creme Cake scent, I mixed equal parts Cake Bake (BCN), Creme Brulee (Peaks), and Wedding Cake (BCS). It was a huge seller for us . Rena
  3. I'm having the worst time trying to come up with a name for the blend of Peak's Vanilla Hazelnut and Flicker's Mocha Mint Cappuccino. Any suggestions??? Rena
  4. Candles sales were down to the point where we discontinued them. On the other hand, soap sales are holding steady. Most of the craft markets we do this time of year have shut down so we were limited, but the few we attended did much better than expected. We did anywhere from 25% to 50% better than last year. My repeat customers are ever faithful with their orders and I seem to be picking up more steadily. Can't wait for the Fall/holiday season to kick in, to see how things go . Heck, I can't wait for Fall, period! Rena
  5. Satsuma Chocolate Serendipity Pumpkin Cheesecake OMH Vanilla Hazelnut (I blend it with Flicker's Mocha Mint Cappuccino and it's scrumptious ) Rena
  6. A "spa day at home" ....... 'sigh', between soaping, DH, DD and her boyfriend underfoot, not to mention running after the dogs, maybe someday . Rena
  7. Flickers Sparkling Green Tea Garden and Sea Island Grapefruit, in equal parts!!! I soaped this today and the whole house smells wonderful! Can't wait to cut it tomorrow. Just wanted to share . Rena
  8. Satsuma and Lavender in fo's, though my absolute fave is an eo blend of sweet orange, lavender and a touch of patch. Rena
  9. I'll be working on an order this weekend for soap; Pillow Talk, Satsuma & Lavender Geranium. Also have to make up a batch of whipped shea w/ emu oil as well as Bulgarian Lavender milk bath salts. Rena
  10. I make up a blend of lavender, eucalyptus, lemongrass, citronella and a tiny bit of patch that seems to work well, but this year I tried using lemon eucalyptus, instead and it's amazing. No mosquitos, gnats, flies........ I can finally enjoy my patio .
  11. Citrus Splash Wedding Cake Rice Flower & Shea Peppercorn Banana Nut Bread Red Velvet Cake Pumpkin Cheesecake
  12. My slotted soap spoon which I simply couldn't live without. My glass measuring cups, in every conceivable size, which I use for weighing out practically everything. My trusty Rubbermaid containers which I use for lye. And of course, my stainless measuring cups and spoons. Never seem to have enough of those.
  13. I was so heartbroken when I read the email . Their Milk & Honey is one of my biggest sellers in soap. I hurried to place and order to have some extra on hand. Rena
  14. Hmmmmmm, and I have a ton of lemon verbena dried and my plants are still growing like crazy. I use it in my bath tea blend, but may try a bit in the gardeners soap. Sounds great!
  15. I use a mix of poppy seeds, yellow cornmeal and grits for scrubbies, a light scattering of powdered lemon and orange peel and scent with lemon eucalyptus eo. Great for warding off pesky mosquitos too . Rena
  16. You can believe after this find, he's got it!
  17. Thank you both so much. Seems he got it from a wholesale place he found while running errands. I spoke to someone there and can also get Lou Ana coconut oil, Riceland rice bran oil and EVOO . They are sending a catalog and price list out. I'd love to be able to cut back on some of the outrageous shipping and just pick up a few things local. Needless to say DH is very full of himself right now :rolleyes2 .
  18. I've been considering trying pomace out in soap and leaving the EVOO for my salves and such. Well DH comes home with 6 gallons he paid $85 for. I haven't priced pomace yet so was wondering if he did good or not. I certainly hope so because he's very proud of himself and I love the fact that he thought to do it. I'd sure hate to burst his bubble about it. At least it's pure pomace and not a blend, thank goodness. Rena
  19. So much restocking to do..... Jewelweed soap & salve, salt bars (Clean Cotton & Lime eo), Lavender eo, Gardenia, White Rose & Bergamot. Hopefully I'll get enough done that I can relax for Mother's Day. Hope it's a happy day for everyone! Rena
  20. I love AH/RE's Vanilla Crunch! Rena
  21. Lots of re-stocking to do from the Heritage Festival...... salt bars, both Clean Cotton and Lime eo, Lavender eo, Gardenia, Sage & Lemongrass, Lemongrass eo and definitely more Jewelweed, both soap and salve. You can tell when poison ivy season rolls around down here . Rena
