I do 5x orange with a little rosemary and litsea to anchor. Never had a problem with fading. I also add poppy seed, cornmeal, ground coffee and a bit of finely ground rosemary, lemon & orange peel. Rena
I've been searcing through various suppliers with no luck. Anyone know of a supplier with any variation of a cupcake flavor oil? Or a flavor oil which could be renamed cupcake? TIA Rena
Thought I'd share what DH made for me during his holiday break from work. I've been searching high and low for nice soap dishes to offer with my line and these were a welcome surprise . "]"]
I've been using my pyrex in the microwave for years without mishap. Though, like scrubzz, I zap my butters in short bursts. I melt my beeswax in the double boiler, only.
This has been our slowest year-to-date. Sales were still good, but nothing close to what we usually make. We sold lots of soap, lotion, sink fresheners and firestarters. The soy candles did pretty well since we switched to jelly jars. It sure made a difference in cost and the customers seemed really happy with the fact. Also picked up a new local wholesale account for candles and firestarters, as well as being contacted by the owner of the local coffee house. She invited us in to set up for Holiday Memories and has had customers coming in asking if/when we would be back so she wants us to set up a monthly date to come in for the weekend. I'll get my caffeine fix, if nothing else . Rena
I've used it in Peak's Pink Sugar, NG's Warm Vanilla Sugar as well as a yummy blend I did of WVS & Flicker's Patchouli Honey. No grittiness issues in any of them. Rena
