  1. Thanks for your input KK. Think I'm going to order the sampler and give them a try. I can sympathize with the FO lapse. I made the prettiest lemongrass eo soap recently, only to find my eo sitting pretty on the counter after all was said and done :rolleyes2 . Rena
  2. I've been drooling over the gorgeous colors everyone has been getting with the POPs from TBK and was wondering if they'll work in HP soap. Anyone???? Rena
  3. I grow and dry most of the herbs I use, but for the few I need otherwise, I use http://www.glenbrookfarm.com/herbs/bulkherbs.htm . Customer service is excellent and the herbs are beautiful. Super fast shipping also!
  4. Thanks for good wishes! They worked wonders. Weather was gorgeous with a nice breeze off the river and the crowd was in a spendy mood. Not as big a group as usually attends but we still cleared $700+. Hope everyone had as good a weekend, if not better .
  5. No soaping for me this weekend. We have the Heritage Festival this weekend, our biggest Spring show. Keeping our fingers crossed that all this nasty rain moves on and we get a nice day tomorrow. Good luck to everyone with shows/markets this weekend! Rena
  6. Two goat milk batches, Spearmint and Lavender Tea Tree, as well as Lime salt bars, all eo's. The rest of the weekend and into next week will be spent finishing up labelling and packaging for the local Heritage Festival next Saturday. Keeping my fingers crossed for lovely weather.
  7. Our biggest spring show is fast approaching so I'll be a pouring fool this weekend...Pink Sugar, White Tea & Ginger, Red Velvet Cake, Satsuma, Sweet Basil & Lavender and Sandalwood Patchouli, for starters.
  8. Need to get busy on Nag Champa, Dragons Blood and Satsuma soap, as well as Nag Champa, OMH, and Olive Blossom candles.
  9. My favorite is the Patchouli Honey . but am currently loving Sea Island Grapefruit, Sparkling Green Tea Garden, Mocha Mint Cappuccino, Balsam & Citrus and Tuscan Lace also. Rena
  10. If candlemaking permits, Jamaica Me Crazy, Satsuma, Mountain Lake & Blackberry Sage.

  13. Not much soap left to do, maybe a batch of Satsuma. Tons of candles though and possibly some sugar scrub if I can squeeze it in.
  14. Peaks Sage & Lemongrass is awesome!
  15. Blackberry Sage, Asian Plum, Jamaica Me Crazy, Peach & Lotus Blossom and Citrus Splash salt bars.
  16. Those are lovely. They look just like meringue cookies . Great job!
  17. Cutting my Chocolate Mint soap this morning, then boxing up some cured bars. This afternoon and tomorrow will be working on batches of Chamomile, Calendula Castile, and dog soap. Rena
  18. BCS has an awesome sugar cookie. Amazing hot/cold throw in soy. Not sure what type wax you're using but thought I'd add. Rena
  19. I have to agree with Michi on the Brown Sugar & Fig. It's divine! My biggies for spring/summer are Clean Cotton (salt bars), Peaks Honeysuckle, Rosemary Mint (eo's), Peaks Green Clover & Aloe and Lemongrass (eo).
  20. Congrats on your first HP. May it be the first of many . Rena
  21. DH finally got tired of my stacking finished product in one end of the shop and my ever-increasing supplies in the other so he converted our extra bedroom into a display area. I have one wall fixed with wire racks for my drying soap and my dad was kind enough to put together some adorable shelves to display them when packaged. Rena
