  1. I store mine in boxes. Last time I stored in plastic containers I had to pitch them all out. The containers were like a sweat box inside and they all went rancid.
  2. I haven't used honey in ages, because of the overheating when I did it was like a tsp pp. I get this with just using milk like coconut.
  3. Wow your lucky even if I put mine in the coldest room uncovered I get cracks.
  4. I'm talking about the soap itself.
  5. Did you stick it in the freezer?
  6. Awesome, you are the swirl queen! That scent sounds really nice too.
  7. Great video's thanks! I want to try a veggie juice and see if it works
  8. I know for me it works great with breakouts, but I don't get them much anymore since going off dairy which has been amazing. I tried to hp them one time and it was a disaster, but I plan on trying it again. Sometimes I add too much salt and they don't lather hardly so I use them like a pumice stone in the shower. I need to try rebatching or add them to a new batch to see how they do.
  9. How did it seize on you? Did you try just using a whisk instead of a stickblender or soaping cool? Sometimes adding the fo to the oils before the lye water helps too. At least with florals it does
  10. I do both too. I always have a calendula infusion sitting with olive oil and when I make my soap I throw petals in the hot lye water. I think it's one of the best flower/herb to put in soap, because it never browns and you really never get floating petals in your tub they seem to dissolve. Plus the scent coming from them in soap is lovely
  11. LOL burn his face off funny hehehe. I usually have to wait 2 months to cure mine, because my face is sensitive, but sometimes I get impatient!
  12. That does sound nice noodle. I bet it would be awesome in liquid soap or cream soap too. I usually do a blend with cocoa absolute, yes it's expensive, but I loves it lol. BTW I absolutely love sweet scents, but it seems like all the vanilla type scents in cp get a chemical smell in them for some reason.
  13. That is a bummer noodle that's the only one I can find online. BC sells a chocolate syrup, maybe that would work.
  14. Oh you must try it! I use it as part as my cocoa butter portion in the soap, just make sure if has little to no sugar in it.
  15. No stearic acid, because It is already super thick, almost too hard to squeeze through a tube. I might try to loosen it up more though. I have another recipe I'm going to try that should be looser for bottles. I love experimenting esp with cream soap it's so much fun!
  16. This stuff has a mind of it's own. A couple weeks ago I added glycerin to it and whipped it up. It was fine for a day or 2 then liquid soap separated from it again. Then several days ago I whipped it up again and turned out amazing. Put it in a bottle several hours later it separated again lol, but less. So now here we are and a couple days ago I noticed it started to stiffen up more in the bottle which is annoying, but at least no separation. I'll let it sit for a while and see how it goes. After all this trouble I want to go at it again & make more lol
  17. I like the giant tips, if I use the smaller ones my hands cramp up something awful and kills my back lol.
  18. Just like KOH it's not 100% pure, but I wonder if the food grade one would be? Anyone know? I get the crust on top on occasion usually when it's too cold.
  19. Your hp looks fantastic I wish mine would come out that smoothe lol. I love the spring colors though.
