  1. When essential depot ships mine they ship via USPS priority
  2. I was pouring them in silicone molds. I will start checking the temps next time, thanks!
  3. Yes it's the plastic looking stuff on top I can't stand it lol. It cools to quick too and before I can pour it starts to form. Thanks for helping me I really appreciate it
  4. I should have explained it better more like a skin when you pour. I guess that is normal with SFIC bases then. Do you know any bases that don't do this? Thanks for your help candy
  5. What causes the shiny film on top after pouring the soap? I use the low sweat bases from brambleberry. I've always had issues with it even when I don't get it from bb.
  6. I like these, they are so easy. I have a bad cold right now so I'm going to use them tonight. I put menthol crystals on a few of them so I can't wait to try them.
  7. Never tried that just the aloe vera powder. I just added it to my soap batter but I never tried infusing it that is a good idea though
  8. I wonder how coconut butter would work in soap, maybe like coconut milk?
  9. Definitely you don't get much out of it either. I know where I live one coconut is over $4 so it's not worth it for me Mountain Rose Herbs has a powdered aloe that is nice in soap it gives a nice speckled look
  10. You can make coconut oil from the fresh coconut too
  11. I bought the kind in the container just straight coconut water no additives. I didn't buy fresh because I can't stand coconut! I don't mind it in soap though except for the scent lol. If you follow soaping101 on youtube she did a soap and used the whole coconut in her soap it was really cool.
  12. I love karen she is one of the best cupcake soapmakers out there!
  13. Candy have you tried coconut water yet? I bought some but haven't tried it yet.
  14. No issues at all The only time I had issues is if I used a plant milk with a lot of sugar but I tend to soap warm. Using the unsweetened milk is the best to prevent the overheating issues.
  15. Almond milk works wonderful in soap I usually add it at trace. I would be careful with the chocolate mint because it's high in sugar maybe put it in the fridge so it won't overheat. I love soy milk in soap too. I've been thinking of trying the soy milk creamer to try that out.
  16. This is what I have noticed also & I didn't care for it. I love lots of lather!
  17. For me personally it was way more drying on my skin this is why I stick with coconut oil. You'll just have to try it out for yourself. I have seen recipes with both though. PKO does make a nice hard bar too
  18. That is good to know. I hardly use fo's due to allergies so that shouldn't be a problem. That is the one thing though I need to figure out is putting it somewhere she can't get to. I never realized how much they climbed, so I'm learning the hard way lol. Thanks!
  19. We took in a stray cat & she is my first kitty so I'm new to cat care. I know a lot of essential oils are no no's to put on cats, but are using oil/tart warmers ok around her with essential oils, tarts etc.? I just want to make sure I don't want to hurt her.
  20. I love the idea of putting cards in cello bags, plus labels are a pain for cello bags at least for me they are
  21. Yeah I tried all of them lol. Sorry it's not work for you either, what a bummer.
  22. I use linux and I can't get it to work in IE, chrome, firefox or seamonkey Maybe it just works on mac. What is archived day I can't seem to find it in my google search.
  23. Lucky! It keeps telling me "Please select at least one Essential Oil" when I know it's one of the blends I used before poo!
  24. Yeah there are way more eo's that are cheaper than sandalwood. You could try amyris it is similar to sandalwood
  25. I have tried that before and it has never worked for me unfortunately
