  1. www.jandofabrics.com and www.ladybuttonfabrics.com I've purchased alot from both places. Great customer service and shipping. Prices seem fair.
  2. In my experience with them..it's all in what you like. The string should not pull through just because they aren't bumpy...it depends on how thick you actually made the ornies and how close to the edge you put the hole for the string.
  3. I haven't tried lately, but last week for a couple of days, I couldn't calculate postage either.
  4. Is there anyplace to get the Axe type fragrance oils since the prebuy was cancelled at Daystar? I saw fragranceoilheavan has the pheonix type but I was looking for some of the other ones.
  5. Those are really cute. I saw on www.craftster.org that someone made cigar box purses and put teeny tiny lights in the pictures.
  6. I use HTP 104. I haven't had any trouble with any fragrances that I've tested and I use pure soy wax from bluegrass
  7. I glue mine down with a glue stick or the GE household silicone glue.
  8. ooh, we used to make the tabletop trees also with the garland and lights. They were really pretty. I may have the directions somewhere in my stash. If I get the chance this week, I'll look. My mom may even have hers closer at hand. My uncle taught us how to make these one christmas and we were like crazy nuts running around picking out garland and lights to see what color combos we could come up with.
  9. Hey there cocopop....we're almost neighbors. I live in Wampum, PA and am very familiar with Rogers and the Friday night auction...(maybe too familiar 9 rabbits later from last summers auctions!). My sister-in-law and I have gone to www.supplies4candles.com before to pick stuff up and it is just about right in your back yard in New Waterford Ohio. You can call your order in and let them know when you want to pick up.
  10. OOPS...my bad, it should be www.thriftyfun.com they have thrifty tips of the day on there!
  11. Go to www.thriftytips.com there is a pattern on there in the craft section for making poodle dogs. We made these when we were little and I searched everywhere for the pattern. You ben the coat hanger to make the basic dog shape and then you make loops (I forget how and haven't actually looked at the directions yet) and tie them on the hanger to make a loopy poodle.
  12. I haven't used an electric "tart" warmer myself just the ones with tea lites, but when I read the warning label that says a non-electric potpourri burner I took it to mean the burners specifically for porpourri...the ones that you put liquid potpourri in. I don't put the "non-electric" warning on mine 'cause everyone I've sold tarts to have not had a problem with soy tarts in the electric tart warmers.
  13. Your packaging is very pretty. My Godson is getting married in July and I want to make them a gift basket. Is there a recipe for the bath caviar. I tried doing a search but only found 1 post with someone asking the same thing.
  14. I thought about doing this, but then thought about glass in the bathroom and wet, slippery hands...I guess if you just handle the jar before you get in the tub.
  15. Wouldn't you know it...I had a sample of lavender lullabye that I used to make aroma bead air fresheners...about 2 yrs. ago and my sister brought me an order from one of her coworkers who requested candles in this fragrance. I don't mind ordering it to make them, but I also need htp wicks and of course CC doesn't have the wicks. Anyway, my point being to save on shipping, I don't want to order just 1 little fragrance. Any suggestions for spring/summer that do well in 100% soy. (I use bluegrass soy). Actually, I was going to stay away from spring/summer fragrance and just concentrate on getting ready for fall, but I'm getting requests soooooo, I guess I'd like suggestions for good year round fragrances.
  16. I've gotten quite a few FO from them...don't ask me which ones, can't tell you off the top of my head. I use plain soy wax from Bluegrass and have had great results with Atwixend FO. I also use their votive/pillar wax. It reminds me of a palm wax because when it cools it looks sort of "feathery". Great customer service as well as fast service.
  17. oops..I forgot...should be there now
  18. I don't know if I posted this one before or not. I finally took pictures of these to open my ETSY shop.
  19. www.candlesandsupplies.com used to have colored ones and www.candlesoylutions.com used to have some but I can't remember if I got my frosted ones from them and/or ones with small flowers on them. Hope this helps.
  20. what part of PA are you in? You can find most of the things you mentioned at Pat Catans, but maybe not all at the same time, but I think they will order by the case for you if you want something specific. That's where I get my lights and pans, but they don't always have them on the shelf. Seems like every once in awhile they must get a run of people buying them and other times, they have plenty.
  21. This is really cute. I wish I could get to the craft store to get some paper to try making one (along with my other projects). There are some cute ideas on that website.
  22. The sweater is adorable. I wish I could get the hang of knitting. I can crochet quickly and that's why I think I just can't get the knitting 'cause I don't want to take the time. I love the blanket too. I bought that same fabric to make some stuff for my son who is almost 2 (3/9).
  23. I was browsing around the craftster. org website and someone made these cute fluffy pom pom type kitties out of yarn on there and the maker said she learned how to make them from her friends grandma and would post directions but she was wanting to know if there is a pattern for these already out there. I remember making poodles out of yarn with a wire coat hanger for a body but have no idea where the pattern is or can no way remember how we made these. Anyone have any patterns for fluffy animals?
  24. I'd say don't dip, but if you want the bear fragranced, try injecting. I tried one of these angel bears dipped and what a mess I created. I've dipped alot of bears, but this one was a little bit of a challenge, but in the end with a lot of patience and fluffing like crazy she came out okay. The girl who requested her loved it, but it wasn't up to my "standards"
  25. candles and supplies used to carry them in pastel colors and I bought some with floral decorations a few years ago from www.candlesoylutions.com but don't know if either place still carries them. HTP
