    Hey girl! Long time no talk to! How's northern Indiana? I haven't been on here much in the past year due to family stuff. My daughter had a severly disabled baby in Sept 08 and he was in Riley til Feb 09 and I've been so busy helping her family and helping care for her baby. Nice to "see" ya! Are you on FB?

    This was one of my top sellers along with Honeysuckle Jasmine from CS last summer. I'm getting ready to double my order for this year to start! PS.....FREE FO shipping at CS thru Monday 2/1!!!!!! I'm so in! I don't change their names!

    I would start with a 44z and then go to a 51z but, Iwould think a 44 would be a great size.

    Wax? The only thing I weigh is my oil. My pouring pot is scored with the amount of melted wax I need from my large melter for 1,3 or a full 6 candles. i have never weighed wax at all.

    I have never had a wick come loose from hot glue. The wick stickers just seem like an added expense if you are making very many candles.

    Isn't it sheaper to use a hot glue gun? Just asking.............

    Depending on where you live for shipping reasons.....I use the candlemaker's store for my wax. He charges only the real cost to ship not and upcharge.

    I use 4627 Comfort Blend but I find it's only a one pour if you use a wide moth container. I use a round jar and do have to top off after cooling or else you will have tunnels down in the candle!

    1) No cure time for this wax ready to burn as soon as set. 2) Fragrance: I use 10 percent most of the time sometimes a bit more and sometimes a bit less.. 3) I use Zinc wicks only 4) The liquids dyes work great and produce very nice colors from the lightest to the darkest!

    I'm sure the height measurement is wrong! You want the mj-12 and they have the 16oz description on it! Just call because I had to to find out the shipping amount and mine was only $25 which I was really happy with! They cost more than mine LOL! For some reason smaller jars cost more sometimes. I have been jar shopping for a couple of weeks and settled on these for a good price..

    I use Daystar's but was looking for it a bit cheaper. Daystar's is fabulous and throws great in my 4627. It's one of my best sellers even though oob it's not a great smell but, burning........yummy! It's the only oil I love from Daystar. I love a lot of BW oils also and thought it might be a lesser price option!

    How does Daystar's Blackberry Butter Jam Cookies compare with Backwood's Jambleberry Thumbprint Cookie? Has anyone tried BW's?

    Awww PA! We are so alike! The only thing I would add is that it's not just the wax and fo that determine wicking........don't forget the container! I use 4627 and the zincs for all of my containers from there it's what size wick and is more than one wick needed for the oil and container. Testing, testing, testing!

    I use paper baking cups, saw dust and scrap wax. Everyone who uses them, loves them! Messy to make but, a use for my dad's saw dust from woodworking and my old wax from tarts and the remnants of candles.

    Guess I wonder if you are spending $25K or more a year why on earth are you ordering from CS? They are a middleman not a manufacturer and if this is the what you are spending you should be saving yourself $ and going to the manufacturer! I personally have never had an issue with CS and love most of their fragrances. :rolleyes2
