Really there is no time frame for this. It's just a matter of finding all of the right combinations for each candle. Each component changes the product from the shape of the glass, to the variety of waxes, fo's, wicks and any other additives. IMO you should start with a basic container shape, a good wax that requires no additives, a few good fo's, and a variety in sizes and types of wicks. But, most of all, enjoy it! I find it very calming pouring candles!
