  1. I hot glue my wick tab so it doesn't move around. Has worked great so far.
  2. Chrisinpa I use it in candles & melts. It has really been a great scent in either with a very good hot throw.
  3. WSP Mango Sorbet is great, outsales everything else in fundraisers! NG Mango Sorbet is nothing like WSP Mango Sorbet, didn't really even like it.
  4. I use 4786 and don't poke holes, this is a container wax. 4625 is the pillar wax and I do poke holes with that.
  5. I use hose that I don't wear anymore - cut a piece from the leg part and tie it around the spigot, works great to strain my wax.
  6. You can turn the print around on Avery Labels, that's the way I do it when I need the print in different direction. Oh sorry, just saw where you couldn't print from Avery.
  7. I have 3 with spigots and they have never flaked. I only use a stir stick and usually just use them to melt wax and do my mixing with scent in pour pots unless I have a fundraiser I am working on then I put the scent & dye in presto. Never had flaking and don't know how many years I have had mine. Probably 10 at least. I also a a Masterbuilt turkey fryer that is only for melting wax.
  8. I agree with the reviews on Elements Persian Pear, my search for pear stopped with it. Love it!
  9. I know it is pricey but I use WSP Nag Champa. I have a customer that swears by it and that is the only scent she orders! I personally like it myself and have 1 local customer that likes it. hth
  10. I put my list under notes on my business page. If you have a scent list already typed out just do a copy & paste on your notes page. If you have a website and the names & descriptions - the name of scent is in bold - then if you copy & paste from that you will have the same on your notes page.
  11. I needed This Old House and Tennessee Candles was out of stock so I ordered Candlemakers Store Silver Bells grade A and to my nose they are nothing alike - sorry. I smell pine in it I think but it is not This Old House. Just thought I would let anyone that may be looking for TOH know. Don't know if Candlemakers Store changed since the list was posted or not.
  12. I bought the Sweet Potato & Brown Sugar from Aztec and love it! Smells like a sweet potato souffle with crunchy nut topping I make for the holidays and is delicious. Strong in my paraffin.
  13. http://www.arylessence.com/index.html Found this on search
  14. Years ago with a wax I had that problem and supplier said nothing wrong with wax but later on down the road I saw where they said to much vybar. This was their own blend of paraffin.
  15. So glad to hear that! I agree they are great to work with even I have used them ocassionally over the years but more so in the last couple months. Vanilla Bean Noel This Old House Spicy Apples & Peaches
  16. According to a customer of mine that burns nothing but Nag Champa, WSP is the best. I tried several with her before I used WSP. hth
  17. Mine are at least 5 yrs old and no flaking. I don't use metal spoons though, just stir sticks.
  18. BigRigg I have been using 4786 for years and use cd wicks and never any problem with the throw. As far as pulling away from the jar that happens at times. For air bubbles pour slow and steady. hth
  19. Thanks Beezy, I figured out what I was doing wrong with my wax.
  20. Which is the best wax to use for whipping, soy or paraffin? I am testing cupcakes with frosting and loaf cakes but not crazy about the way my frosting looks and was wondering if soy pillar wax might look better. I use paraffin - 4625 for the cupcake & loaf.
