  1. That happened to me once using a floral EO and it is just awful. It is just those darn florals. A lot of them have riced and I've had to SB the crap out of it, but only one of mine got crystalized on the outside of the bars of soap. I now add my floral FO's to my oils pre-lye, but it is just going to happen sometimes with them. Oh and I threw out the batch when it crystalized.
  2. I see a dark brown or maybe even a black for maduro. I like black, especially in rustics.
  3. Looks pretty good. I'd say the color is like french vanilla.
  4. I know what you mean when our power goes out, which it has a lot this season, my husband is actually happy that I have so many candles around.
  5. As usual ur absolutely increadible. The red looks pretty good on my computer. Maybe a tiny bit towards burgundy, but it looks good! And when are you restocking?
  6. When you used the coconut milk did you freeze it to get it to a slushy state before mixing with lye? I gave coconut milk a try a few months ago and had no issues with it (did 3 batches). I replaced all of the water with coconut milk and it was fine. It does get hot quick and melt it, but didn't scorch it.
  7. This idea seems to be a dud from what I see on the threads here for wood wicks lately. I do like the different look though. http://www.candletech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=41778 http://www.candletech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=41913
  8. Definitely nothing to complain about they're awesome! It looks like rasberries and cream.
  9. Looks like most of your questions have been answered. I have not tried their kit, but have used their wax, colors, FO's, etc. I don't think you will be disappointed with anything you buy from there.
  10. Scent was great. It worked just as good in this fondue pot as it does in my tart burner. Target is going to be out of these soon at this rate. When I went they only had about 5 left, probably out now.
  11. I think #2 has the most realistic bath full of bubbles look, but for some reason I really like the look of #1....They're all cute.
  12. I guess you'll have to go to the bar for a research trip. I'd say go with the peach too, a little on the pinkish peach side.
  13. Ooooo that really made me think you could do ones with orange and creamy center like a creamsicle. So yummy.
  14. That looks really cool, but it looks like it could cause a mess. The ice looks like it is melting more in the middle from the candle and if the top part fell it could take the candle with it. Or does it just melt down neatly? Anyone used these? :undecided
  15. I know what you mean I was shocked when I walked in the store and they had this stuff and that it was right in the front. Here is a pic of the fondue thing I got and the wax after melting. As you can see it worked all the wax melted.
  16. That is kinda funny I think I'd take the color over the fragrance if I was really concerned about it.
  17. Hmm sounds like we're talking about different hearts. What'd you find there? I might have to go back I got the ice cube trays that are a set of 3 trays per pack for $2.50 and make about 1/2oz. tarts. Works really well too.
  18. maybe you'd do something like leave the wick 1/4"-1/2" from the bottom so there is a wax barrier between the bottom of the wick and the container and then it would probably do like gravity is talking about or drown itself when it reaches the end.
  19. I bought the hearts trays and one of the Valentine's fondue pots to try. I have only tried it once, but it worked. The pot is rather deep, I only used a couple 1oz tarts which fills it about 1/3. I don't know how safe it is, but for this season I figure no matter what it looks pretty cute sitting there even unlit....especially for $2.50.
  20. Glad you figured it out I was thinking you had one incredible packaging.
  21. Bubble gum or not they look absolutely gorgeous! Very springish colors.
  22. I have a special wax knife that strong and short & I just stick it in the wax cracks and a chunk somes off.
  23. MMMmmmm Vanilla soft serve is my favorite!
  24. I love the shapes they're really adorable. Good job! :highfive:
