  1. I haven't gotten any wick pins from them but whoever you get them from they shouldn't be bent or crooked. They must have been damaged in shipping, send them back is my only suggestion. I guess you could try to bend them straight but you paid for wick pins, not damaged wick pins. Good luck with it.
  2. I agree that Macintose Apple from Peaks is really a true apple scent.
  3. I also use 1oz per LB and LOVE this one too. I imagine you could go down a little but 1/2 oz might not cut it. I haven't had anyone tell me they don't like it.
  4. I just poured this today in some votives and the cold throw is pretty intense. I used 1oz per LB. I'm thinking that might be too much, but will wait until I burn it to decide. I'll be interested in others comments on this subject.
  5. I didn't like the Georia Peach, I thought it had a buttery note to it and it was fake smelling, not like a real peach. I haven't tried any other peach FO, but I will now with all these great suggestions.
  6. I like the pumking spice and red clove also. I mixed the red clove with orange and it smells wonderful.
  7. I don't sell, but give away my votives. I absolutely HATED Ginger Passion, makes me sick cold and hot. My neighbor absolutely LOVES it. Guess who got all of them?! :smiley2:
  8. I just make votives with 4794 for myself, family, friends and neighbors. Stargazer Lily from Peaks is a favorite of everyone. It is a strong FO but I still use 1oz per 1 lb of wax because people just love it as strong as it is. I'm sure you'll like this one.
  9. That is the cutest thing I have ever seen!! Very cool!
  10. I use white ceramic tiles (cheap at the home warehouse store) and pour about a tablespoon of colored wax on it and let it set up. The tile is naturally cool so it sets up pretty fast and I have found it gives me a true color. I save the tiles (with many colors on each one) and mark them with a sharpie pen as to what colors I used etc.
  11. My favorite scents at the moment are Green Clover and Aloe Clean Cotton Vanilla Passion Vanilla Amber (really nice) Vanilla Mint .....ok, ok... so I like vanilla! I love the idea of naming it Hope, or how about Renewal or Beginnings. Good luck with the fundraiser, what a wonderful idea.
  12. I went on the Fragrance Finder and BNC has a Woodland Trail but I didn't see Woodland Spice, I like that one.
  13. I bought some at my Big Lots yesterday too. I don't sell my candles so I just got 10 for friends and family, there were plenty more.
  14. I'm always amazed with the great new names people come up with. I've never tried before, since no one else has replied, what the heck, I'll give it a go. Reading the description reminded me of the woods or a woodsy place. Since it's a popular mens fragrance I came up with these. Forest Spice Wooded Trail Wildwood Spice Timber and Spice ok....I hope your not laughing! Good luck.
  15. I wouldn't call that plain ole anything, that is beautiful!
  16. I think you gave her the right answer, those cheap tapers will drip like crazy.
  17. I've been seeing the commercials for those on the TV the last couple of weeks, couldn't figure out how they worked. Thanks for the webpage, now I get it.....sort of. :-)
  18. I agree with MaryinCary, I use 36Z and occasionally need to use a 44z. They work fine. I just got some LX12's to try in my votives.
  19. I use dye chips and use the orange and add a little brown.
  20. I use them to store my votives in, they are great. I never thought of using them for re-pour wax, great idea!
  21. I love the look of your pillar also, reminds me of butternut squash...must be close to dinner time! :-)
  22. I agree with Scented, those colors are awesome! I don't have a favoite, I like them all. What would we do with out our sage color chips!
  23. I love that cactus, how exactly will that burn? So cute!
  24. Good luck with your first show. I'm sure you'll do well, those are really pretty and well done packaging.
