  1. Just playing around with a new line I am working on. These are 16 oz mason jars, one is Christmas at Gramma's, the other two are mixed scents I made.. Holly Nog, and Spiced Fruit Cake. The holly nog is awsome! I have a new line that I will introduce in a week or so...but wanted to show these off first.. LOL
  2. Those are very cute and I love the containers!! Those are they type of things that do well in my craft booth! May I ask where you got such cute containers??
  3. I don't use their oils but use other products of theirs and have been more than happy with my customer service and products. Steve is awsome to deal with!
  4. Can I ask why you are cancelling it? I just started to use them about 3 mo. ago...and like the fact I can do postal, priority, overnight, etc on there. You can't do all that with usps.com I also like printing my own stamps. So...just curious as to what you don't like that you are cancelling for?? If ya don't mind telling me??
  5. Hey Gals.. I did just post a pic in a new thread with the cones I have all over my yard.. LOL Go check them out.
  6. Ok.. Here are the pics you've been waiting for. Sorry for the delay but not fun to gather them in the rain.. LOL Cones are 4-5" long, approx. 1-1 1/2" wide. Email me if you want some.. tandsthomas@frontiernet.net

  8. I know everyones nose is different and everyone has an opinion.... LOL As for me.. I have made many kinds of candles...both soy and paraffin...pillar and container and molded and so on. Of every kind...with every scent... soy still is wayyyy better! My soy tarts are the best by far, and I have loads of customers to tell you they have never smelled, or melted anything like them.. LOL I am a candle freak, and have bought many many candle and just not happy with any of the paraffin ones I have owned...or made. But like I said.. to each his/her own... That is what makes the world go round...Right??
  9. Congrats for you Hollar at me if you ever need help
  10. I make pure soy candles and actually do for a few reasons. 1.. they have a better cold and hot scent throw. 2.. they burn cleaner, longer, and scent from beginning to end. 3.. they are natural..no chemicals. 4.. soap and water clean up. 5.. I have a white kitchen and every paraffin candle I burn leaves soot all over!! I have never found a paraffin candle to smell as good as my soy candles. I also have friends who make soy candles and they out last, and smell any paraffin made.. Just my opinion
  11. Hey all.. I do have cones but it has been yucky and raining here so I haven't gotten any gathered up. I will soon and email all who wanted cones Thanks
  12. DIY Websites Rock.. are easy to do, and when you get stuck on something there is a great forum with gals who answer all your questions big or small. I highly recommend them. I have two sites that are DIY sites,,...and love them! I get a ton of compliments on them as well. Go for it!!
  13. I will add mine to the list as well Great thread and some awsome, creative sites and products...way to go everyone! http://www.grammafransfixins.com A site/business I hold very dear as it is named after my Gramma Fran... be sure to read my About me page
  14. For a regular mouth jar I single wick. For all my apothecary jars.. 10 oz and up.. I double. Folks love that I double wick as all the wax burns completely gone. Doesn't take as long to get a full melt pool either and that is a good selling point for larger jars as not everyone wants to have to burn the candle for 5 hours or more before blowing it out the first time.
  15. Thanks HeavenScentU I liked Jamie, her products and service. She used to have one of my candles on her site.. I was the first to get the matchbooks from her I miss her!
  16. Awsome to hear she has a shop, but sad cuz she did awsome printing work. Tell her grammafransfixins said hi
  17. I have done bears in soy container, soy pillar, mix of those. Paraffin container, pillar and a mix.. and as far as I am concerned..it all works. Just have to dip at diffent temps and comb out faster ....LOL Depending on the wax and the temp you dip you may have some flaking.. but just heat the critter up with a heat gun after and that will fix it HTH
  18. I love the lx wicks from Bitter Creek. I would do a lx 22 and if not big enough do a 24. I make that style jar and use soy, and use a lx 24. Soy usually needs a larger wick than paraffin..so that is why I say try a 22 to start with. HTH
  19. Hmm ..that would make an interesting fragrance.. LOL Why is it one can smell something and it brings back all those memories??
