I have been to tartwarmers.com and the other obvious places....whos holding back? lol...i got a show coming up and rescue animals to feed! Any ideas where to get reasonable prices? Tartwarmers.com is wayyyyy to high!

I bought some of those off of ebay just to see for myself...ewwwy I didn't like them! Smell wasn't strong at all. Looked yucky too! Like pimples in a bottle...I know, I know thats gross but thats what it looked like! LOL

I have been using a parafin preblended wax with wounderful results. No problems with cold/hot throw or anything.... My question is... I have visited two other "tart makers" and their tarts look totally different than mine and I can't for the life of me find a recipe to make mine look the way theirs do! Mine are shiny all over and have bright vivid colors. Theirs kinda look like the texture of fiber glass. Kinda country and creamy colored. Whats the secret? Anyone know?

Its suppose to be 28 degrees Saturday and I have a show outside! I know if I leave my tarts in the freezer way to long they crack and break. Will this be to cold outside for my candle tarts???

i forgot to add that it was 1/2 a teaspoon in 2 pounds of wax! sorry for the confusion!

The vybar worked! I added about 1/2 a teaspoon and it isn't pooling wax anymore. Thank all of you so much for the advice! I really enjoy being part of the board! (It was the Orange Dreamsicle fo I was using)

Thank you! I'll try the vybar when it gets here in the mail and reply to this post to let you know if it worked! I have been buying The Candle Source fo's and haven't had a problem.....may it will work!

I did check and make sure it wasn't water. I actually ran out of vybar yesterday...lol I have some more coming in the mail. I tried two different fo's and it did the same thing. I'll try some vybar and see if it helps. How much should I add?

I am using a blended paraffin wax. When I mix color and fo in it I'm getting a "pool" in the bottom of the melted wax. I can use the wax and my tarts turn out wondeful...I just have to throw away the last 5 or 6 teaspoons. (I tried melting more wax into the pool to see if it absorbs and it doesn't) It looks like fo to me but I'm not sure. I have tried all different temps and I'm only using 1oz of fo per pound.... Should I try less fo? Should I still add a little vybar? I'm clueless....Help!
