  1. I am cracking up here cuz I just poured that scent and made the desert today... LOL!! It smells soo good, and tastes sooo good!!! MMMMMM
  2. Thanks, Yup.. Lindsaycb... your on the money.. LOL I have a line on my site that my friend makes.. they are called Life Candles. They are food cans, with candles, then the outside grubbied and a picture added. They are in Country Sampler this month. I love them!!
  3. Thanks so much I will post the actual new line when I get them done and pics taken..and then those will be on my site
  4. Looks great!! Makes me want a milkshake.. LOL
  5. Sheri, I think I can't get pm's cuz I haven't been here a month?? Anyhow...just drop me an email with any question
  6. You can get plaid lids that go with jelly jars. I have seen them on jellies and such. I think Candles and Supplies has them??? That would be neat
  7. Awsome!! Love the way you have it in the jar for the pic.
  8. Thanks I wasn't trying to cover anything with the homespun..just added it cuz I like homespun.. LOL But will try a few different ways and see what looks best. Thanks
  9. Thanks everyone I for some reason can't email or pm anyone here so if you want some info please email me.
  10. If you email me I can tell you where the lids can be bought. I make mine, but do have a source as well.
  11. LOL!! Dirty tag.. Yup.. may need some revamping.. LOL! But the tag is to be dirty
  12. No candle wax on the outside of the jar. It is a mixture that dries very hard, and won't come off with the heat of the melting candle in the jar. You could even use the jar on a warming plate and it won't come off. To answer the "WHY" question.. LOL.. Not everyone is into Prim, but most of my customers are. I belong to a wonderful online group of gals who are all into Prim crafting. I do have a line of candles that are in jars, with no grubby on them, but have had requests for some more Prim stuff...so this is why I did these. Candleman.. I am gonna try the thicker cheesecloth, and also maybe a different tag?? Not sure. Like I said in my earlier post, these aren't the actual jars in my line, just extra jars I had that I applied the grubby mix to and such so I could test them out
  13. I agree it does overtake the smaller jar.... but I think the bigger is ok. JMO Thanks for being honest...that is why we post pics right? To get honest feedback...and I take all into consideration
  14. Thanks!! The cheesecloth is dyed.. but doesn't look like it in the picture?? Not sure why? I think it should also be cut bigger/wider?? Hmmm.. LOL
  15. Try http://www.thecandlebaker.com She seems to do everything.. and she is awsome!!
  16. Thanks everyone.. and I do agree with the homespun.. less is more. As for the lids..they are not a rusty lid, they are just silver and shouldn't ever rust. They sell ones just like these predrilled.. but these I drill myself.
  17. Thanks! Laura...it is cheesecloth to make ya think old.. LOL Gingerinarkansas...the jars are actually grubbied with a special mix I use. The candles inside are soy, and done the same as all candles. I also can make grubby candles in which the wax is stirred as it cools and then spooned into the jars to make it look grubby and bumpy.
  18. Thanks for everyone opinion. I am going for the country homemade look. I am not into (or are my customers) the mass produced look. I was toying with the homespun ideas some.. and so still not totally fixed on what that will look like. As for my grubby candles in my other post.. those are a huge Prim hit.
  19. Thanks, Well I get from Walmart usually.. but I guess now I will have to find it elsewhere?? I do have a Hancock fabric and also another smaller fabric store nearby. Maybe the smaller one will be able to get me homespun special. Why is it so hard to find?? LOL I do have a ton of the new mustard homespuns...and had it on Ebay.
  20. Roxi.. I only use kraft labels, print my own and sometimes get some printed. Either way you can check out http://www.printmeprim.com http://www.kraftoutlet.com or http://www.sweetpeanme.com They are all great sites, and awsome customer service.
  21. Well I had made one of these as a gift for a friend and she totally loved it, said I need to add them to my site... so I did They come in 8 oz and 16 oz jars, with zinc lid and pump. You can get either soy soap, or soy lotion in them. Whatcha think??
