    I myself hate the smell of licorice..but ordered a sample of the NG one..and made some candles and tarts to give away. Well a friend of mine loves licorice,..and she is prego and due any day. I guess you can't eat black licorice the last few months of preg...so I gave her a candle.. LOL Her and her hubby loved it and ordered more. LOL! And even though I am not a fan of that smell... I thought it rocked! Burned great, and stunk down to the last bit of wax in the jar.. LOL Go for NG

    I made up 6 just like that and they all burned down to nothing.. I used 2 wicks. I love those little pans.

    I use pure ez soy for jars, tarts, votives, tealites. Never a problem with it being to soft. My customers love my stuff Best scent throw around Everyone has their own favorite, and feels strongly about what they use. So just experiment and you will find one that works for you.

    I am gonna change my gingerbread fragrance on my site...get away from the spicey and go more warm, buttery.. soo... Give me some good and bad feedback on Gingerbreads?? LOL Thanks everyone

    I make tarts in those cups and customers love them. Especially since I do soy. They like the fact that the tarts don't get banged up... LOL I get mine off from Ebay as it is the best price I found.

    I get my liquid dye from Lonestar Candle Supply. I use the honey/vanilla.. think that's the name.. LOL I use eco soya pb and for each 1# batch use 2 drops of dye. I usually don't have a problem with the color varying too much...and have never had anyone say they don't like the color..LOL Thanks!! Good luck

    Yup!! All the time! I can't pour baby powder, honeysuckle, juniper breeze, most flower scents, and twigs and berries makes me ill..but not as bad as the others. I have done away with any scent that makes me sick! Not worth it for me to be feeling like crap pouring candles....LOL

    I order from The Candlemakers Store all the time and don't have any issues with shipping. Shipping on my last order seemed fair.. I ordered 2 gallons of body spray base, 50 cosmo bottles and 50 spray tops, and 4 cases(24 per case) of 1.5oz hex jars.. the shipping was 24.00 ups. It was here in 3 days. Seemed ok to me? I think shipping is just plain high everyplace.

    When I first started making candles that was exactly what I did. I loved that I got the jars free from friends with babies. I spray painted the lids black and they were so cute when done. I used the 2 oz and 4 oz sizes Have fun..candle making is only limited to your imagination

    Well at least you can return it.. I didn't know you could. I am sorry you had such a bad experience with them. It sucks when a candle or anything for that matter is so advertised as being great.. and so we go out on a limb to get it and it sucks! One of life's lessons right?
