  1. I am going to have to put in an NG order... And of course, I couldn't stay away from Peaks; I will not be satisfied until I try every damn oil that they carry. Ah well, there really are worse vices. The next ones on my list are KY and TN.
  2. Thanks, guys. Pink Sugar is awesome as a spray, and I have also tried Sulty Angel from Candle Cocoon, which is gorgeous. I've also been checking out NG's kama sutra line.
  3. All this talk about soy and cancer has got me thinking. Soy wax is not made from organic soy beans, so is it dangerous to burn the wax the way it is? I mean, is it like buring pesticides into the air?
  4. The standard tea lights I have that bought at stores are not 1 and a half inchess wide, they are just an inch, which makes the BCS tea lights wider. They are about a centimeter deep, so 3/4 of an inch deep would also be a big difference. Unless, of course, I somehow got some runty tea lights! :undecided
  5. What are your faves? I do candles and I am starting to thinnk a little about bath and body, and I think this is an easier first step than diving right in and making soap. I probably shouldn't even make body spray, I'm going to start a brand new addiction... uh oh!
  6. Sounds scrumptuos. Add on! (My Peak's list is getting long.)
  7. I didn't have too much luck with their oils. :undecided
  8. These I have found to work in both soy and parrafin... German Chocolate Cake -- very, very yummy Pink Sugar Brown Sugar and Fig -- soft and strong Downy Fresh -- super strong Clean Cotton Black Rasberry Vanilla -- super strong Cranberry Citrus Apple Jack and Peel -- super strong Amish Harvest -- super strong Vanilla Hazelnut Wild Moutain Honey -- too strong, lol Frosted Carrot Cake
  9. Bittercreek South has the larger size tea light as well.
  10. I like em strong. I use 2 oz. per pound. I know that sounds crazy, but I only do tarts and wickless and I like them killer. It seems to me from what I have read that a lot of people on this board use 1 oz. to 1.5 ozs.
  11. Thank you all for the very helpful information. I will definitely check out that board.
  12. From Bittercreek South.... Dry Oil Body Spray/Perfume: Mix in FO or EO at any dilution depending on desired strength and recommended usage levels of FO or EO. Common dilution rates are 1 part FO/6 parts cyclo up to 1 part FO/3 parts cyclo. I'm glad I posted before I made any....:undecided
  13. Got some of this stuff today to mix up with some FO and make body sprays. I have read that you can use it from 1 part FO to 3 parts cyclo up to 1 part FO to 6 parts cyclo... That's a big difference! Anyone use this, and how much FO do you usually use? I also have to add that I got it from BCS and they included 3 1 oz. FO samples with it, which surprised me on such a small order. Very nice.
  14. Let us know when it has cured. I only let mine cure for a week. I am too impatient to wait any longer! If an oil takes longer than that, I give up!
  15. First of all, Peaks is my favorite FO supplier. That being said, this particular oil I was not impressed with. I bought it because it was listed to throw well in soy, but I found the throw to be light to medium, and that was in tarts at a very high load. However, I was using soy at that time and that could have everything to do with it!
