    Personally, I think if you had let it burn for another hour more, it would have spilled over. I use a formula similar to yours and the 1/0 was way too big and I had spillage. Try wicking down.

    I can't remember which scent it was, but I think Daystar had one that smelled like Play-Doh.

    I visited their storefront several years ago. It was kind of strange. It was connected to their (son & mother's) house. They sold Yankee candles in the front part of the store along with other knicknacks. In the back was the candle supplies. I bought some molds. I chatted with the owner and he was nice and helpful in answering my questions.

    I use the "status" holders from Wal-Mart, $ .57. They are perfect for votives. The glass is very thick on the bottom and they are straight-sided and tight fitting.

    I've tried the Toasted Marshmallow from Tennessee and was disappointed. It's very nice OOB, but was light in my parasoy blend. I'd also like to find a strong one.
