  1. Wow! Your booth is beautiful! Clean, organized and fun! Congrats and great job!! :highfive:
  2. What about adding cranberry and orange?
  3. Actually, here in CA gas is higher than it's ever been in my lifetime.
  4. My DH tells me that all my candles smell like buttered popcorn. :rolleyes2
  5. Maybe you could order a large amount to pick up and split it with other local candlemakers.
  6. And it's super strong, too! I've been testing it in my bedroom upstairs and I can smell it walking up the stairs when it's not even burning!
  7. What I do is, wick the candle while it's still in the mold. (This is after filling relief holes) While the candle is still in the mold, I melt the bottom of the candle in my Presto (only warm, not hot) to level the bottom. This seals up the hole where the wick went and levels the bottom of the candle for a nice, flat surface. HTH
  8. I thought it smelled like an old lady's perfume. :undecided
  9. I have never heard of the restaurant, and my first thought was ruby red grapefruit.
  10. Congrats, Robin. I hope this brings big business for you!
  11. I know how it is. I'm in CA and it takes a good week to get my oils from them. Also, I think they add a handling charge at checkout. Their shipping is high, but like someone said, you have to just get more to make it worth it LOL.
  12. At the top of this section there is a supplier abbreviation page where you can find suppliers and their sites. I would check around there. You can sign up for a supplier's newsletter that tells you when they have sales, too. HTH
  13. In the vegetable candle making section there is a sticky at the top with a list of FOs that have worked in soy.
  14. They have distributors and I guess you can buy them in stores, too.
  15. I'm in Northern California so I feel your pain. I've been getting my wax from Let It Shine ( http://www.letitshineusa.com/). Although they are based in Seattle, they can ship many of their waxes from their W.Sacramento warehouse. Peak (link at right --->) is a great supplier. They are in Colorado but their shipping is not bad and their customer service is worth the $. I suck it up for the shipping for the rest of my supplies because I happen to like the ones that are far from me. :rolleyes2 HTH
  16. AWESOME!! And to think we knew you way back before you became famous! :highfive:
  17. I love those marbled ones! They really look, well, marbled.
  18. http://www.usbox.com/Box/candle_boxes.html http://www.sunshinecontainer.com/candles.htm
  19. http://www.cenzo.com/Features/Sqaure%20Drawn%20Patent/squaredrawnpatent.html They have round ones, too.
  20. Oh don't you worry about Garf. He's got a thick skin.
  21. I requested some, too. I received an email back from them, but no wicks yet. It might just take a while.
