    Wow! I've been testing this jar from them, and although I haven't had one break on me, I'm glad you posted this! Does anyone know if the Jar Store's metros are machine pressed? I'm sorry you had this bad experience , but thanks for the warning!

    Hi snow! Go back to the General Candle Making Discussions forum and click on the New Thread button on the top left. You can type your question there and will get more answers than you will in this thread. Also, you can click on the Search button up top and enter "Votive wax" or "Tart wax" and will get a slew of info. :smiley2:

    1945 and 4630 are the same wax (Harmony Blend). IGI called it 1945 before officially and permanently calling it 4630.

    I just got one of the Clean Cut trimmers. If you rest the trimmer on the wax and cut, it's 1/4". I would think (take it for what it's worth LOL) that if you trim the wick to 1/4" and the flame is too high, then yes, it is over-wicked.

    I believe they are for spices so probably where they have the kitchen stuff like jars and such.

    I've used them and really like their oils. They are reasonably priced. I'm burning their Winter Hug right now and it's awesome!

    I just want to say thanks to Brenda and Greenleaf. I received a sample of FO and wax when they first offered these freebies. Both the FO and wax is great and the customer service is also top notch. I thought this offer was very generous and I just want to remind the folks that are waiting that the samples are worth the wait. If you can be patient, you won't be disappointed.
