  1. I think that person is quite rude. I think the right thing to do would not to even respond. Let her play her little games of "i'm better than you". Eventually these people do get what they deserve. Be proud of your product
  2. Here is an eBay store where you can get LX wicks. Small quantities. Have bought from her 3 times, she is a great seller!!! http://stores.ebay.com/Nannas-Candle-Nook
  3. Just making some last minute tarts for gift baskets. Need to package some up that were made last weekend. Other than, that all the gifts are wrapped, and I am ready to move on to New Years. Have a safe holiday!!!
  4. I agree, super easy. I use IGI 4794 and muffin tins for molds. Makes a cute little tart, and not very expensive in the mold department
  5. I have to do my repour on some wickless jars for a friend of mine at work. Lemon Grass and Lavender. Then, a ton of tarts to pour, because that is what everyone is getting for Christmas this year!! As far as car repairs...I got hit on Monday by a 17 year old kid and today they totalled my car out with over $10k in damages...so I will also be looking for a car this weekend. GRRR. Merry Xmas to me:angry2:
  6. This is a good place to start: www.addesigner.com/
  7. I have both kinds, and when I use the polyethylene, I get scent transfer, and the tarts tend to smell like something else they were near. I only use polypro now, and the boxes with the #5 on the bottom. As far as to why they sell them, maybe they sell them for use with other things???
  8. I like the hibiscus the best. I really like the color!!
  9. I LOVE Christmas Tree Shops. This thread reminds me it is time to take a little trip
  10. Here are some threads on Candle Source http://www.candletech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=33972&highlight=candle+source http://www.candletech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=32457&highlight=candle+source I tried a few of the Candle Chem, and was not too impressed, so never bought anymore to try. But I really like the Candle Source ones, and have ordered most of their holiday scents, and they are great. I love Grandma's Kitchen!!!
  11. Monday is National Boss Day, and I have a bunch of tarts to make for a gift my office is getting for her. And, I know what she likes cuz I kept track of what she bought last time So, will be doing that this weekend. And, also taking inventory and organizing!!
  12. I'm sorry that you thought I was "kicking the dog" by commenting. It was not intended that way. You can tell by all most posts (the few that there are) that I am not confrontational. So, I'm sorry if I came across that way.
  13. I agree, but it should be posted AFTER contact has been made with the supplier. In any situation, you would be required to contact the other party, so why not do that, and then post the experience??
  14. And, do a search about the supplier. You can learn a lot from this board about the good and the bad experiences.
  15. I use a mini muffin pan that makes 24 muffins. with 1 pound of wax, i fill that and have enough for 1 or 2 more. they are about 3/4 of an ounce
