  1. Hello, I saw them at wholesalesuppliesplus.com about three weeks ago. Vickie/Chicago
  2. Nice to meet you too. You have a lovely website might I add
  3. Hi Breanna, Thanks for the info! I see you live in Illinois; how far are you from Chicago?
  4. That makes sense Now I feel better:) Thanks, Vickie
  5. Hello Scented, Yes, my candle self-consumed using the LX 18 and the LX20. I put both of the pillars on a pillar plate and it burned all the way to the bottom. When I stated "I'm torn between a few wick selections" I was merely thinking is this how a pillar should burn-All the way down. My confusion came into play when I read on the message board that some candlemakers are able to have a shell with their pillar. I don't have a shell and I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong. Thanks, Vickie/Chicago P.S. The scent was Tall Grass Peaks
  6. Good Evening, I've been testing my pillars for about a week now and I'm torn between a few wick selections. Wax - 4625 Wicks - LX 18, LX 22, Flat Braid 24 FO - Peaks Pillar Size 3x3 Mold The question is...Has anyone used RRD wicks in their pillar? I tried RRD 34 this morning and I really like the way it's burning! It's a though the pillar is hugging itself-the sides are turning inside. It was a slow start, but now it looks great. One more question, I'm using a round mold and the candles self-consumers (no shell) with the LX 18 and LX22. Is this right? Thanks, Vickie/Chicago
  7. I'm jealous too! Waiting on my goodie bag Vickie
  8. Thanks for your response. Well, I made the palm pillar and it came out lovely! I wish I had a digital camera to show it off. Vickie
  9. Haven't purchase from Kanagaroo Blue as of yet but Bittercreek North is great. Just wanted to say "hi" and welcome to the board. Vickie/Chicago
  10. Hello, I just got my order from Peaks and I purchased alot of goodies. I will be using some of the wick pins for my pillars. Quick question, do you just drop them inside the mold or push it in from the bottom? Vickie/Chicago
  11. Thank you for your response. This KY Votive/Pillar blend has hardly shrunk but I poked holes anyway.
  12. Hello, Would anyone know if Veggie wax shrinks when cooling like the paraffin wax does? Vickie
  13. Hello, I made a candle with 1343 yesterday and one with KY Votive/Pillar Blend this morning. I was able to get the shrinking with 1343, but with the KY Votive/Pillar there is hardly any shrinking. I did poke the relief holes on both of them. Just wondering if there should be shrinking with the KY Votive/Pillar blend. Vickie/Chicago
  14. I love Peak's too! I just ordered some more FO's that I have never tried. Why fix what's not broken...JoyWax + Peaks = Goodness for me Vickie/Chicago
