  1. I always love how your soap turns out. And, glad you got the layer thing to work Bet it smells awesome!!!
  2. I think it is good you were waiting. Sounds like everything is not falling into place, and you certainly don't want to get into any lease trouble. And, if you are going to wait, work on that credit. It can be done. I went through a bankruptcy in 2002, and very soon after I was able to get a credit card and start building credit. The rate sucked, but after working in fianance for a few years, I understood this was the way to start. Since then, I have bought a car, unsecured and been approved for a mortgage. You can do it, you just have to start at the low end. The loan through your bank is an excellent idea. Start there, pay it back and that will definitely help. Good luck, and I hope it all works out for you. Just keep the faith and your fingers crossed
  3. Got my package today. Will test this weekend, and give you a report beginning of the next week.
  4. Heat gun was the best $20 bucks I have spent. There are so many uses for it around the house. And, it makes clean up very simple....along with a case of paper towels
  5. I am waiting for mine too. I can't wait to try them out!!
  6. I put 3 melts in mine. Or 1 votive. I like to keep room to tie them off and look pretty, so I don't overcrowd the product.
  7. I love the little dollops for the guest soap. But I may be tempted to eat them
  8. I can't access ebay from work, so is their store name also Aroma Haven??
  9. I have only ordered from them once, and it was a case of wax, and shipping was just over $20.00. I found that to be great considering what other were charging. Must be the difference in zones.
  10. Tart burner clean up is easy. Just put the burner in the freezer for a bit, and it will just pop out. Before I learned this trick it was always a mess!!!!
  11. Haven't applied, so did not lose anything. There was nothing in the application, so I will give them a call and find out that way.
  12. I searched and could not find anything on this. I even googled my question, and nothing If I apply for a juried show, and am not accepted, do I get back the fee I sent along with my application? I know it may sound like a silly question, but this is my first time applying, and I have never done this before. TIA
  13. It's nice to hear that they took a suggestion, and will do something with it. Sounds like they were very receptive, and are OK with feedback. I'll have to check them out
  14. Here's a couple threads I found about the same thing. HTH http://www.candletech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=24772&highlight=summer+shipping http://www.candletech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=24851&highlight=summer+shipping http://www.candletech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=20367&highlight=summer+shipping
  15. How about: Infusion Allure Spellbound Tantalize Intrigue Pleasure Hypnotic Enthralling
  16. I would expect to see that soap in a 5 star fancy hotel. Just beautiful!!!
  17. Sorry, I can't help you, but maybe this bump up will get you some help Good luck!
  18. I got mine at Target. The ones at wally world have the seam for the cup on the inside of the cup, and wax gets stuck in there, the ones at Target had the seam for the cup on the top of the pan, so no wax buildup. And, they came out of the pan easier. When I get out of work, I'll post the brand name of the Target ones. I would recommend them over the others Edited to add: The ones from Target I use are called chefmate
  19. Depends on what you like. I have fluted metal ones, muffin pans, and these high density plastic type ones that make fluted with a flower design. There are also lots of things you can use around the house. Just have to be creative
  20. I know in my state, filing to be a business was recommended, but optional. I was able to get my sales tax license without filing as a business. Check with your state online, and you are sure to find what you need. I was able to send an email with the questions I had, and I got an email back with links telling me where to go. Good Luck!!!
  21. I just bought some good wicks to continue testing with. So far they are for my own personal use, so that fact I don't know what the wick is doesn't pose a problem. But thanks for your input. I love this wax so far. I use it for my tarts and votives, and they come out nice. Still need to zap the tops with a heat gun, but I like it. The votive were very smooth after the 2nd pour, so no heat gun action needed Oh, and the wicks I ordered are CD 4, 5 and 6. And LX 10 and 12. Ordered some samples of each to see which I like.
  22. The wax is 4794. And, I am testing to make sure they burn correctly, and I have the proper wick. To make sure they are safe and not junk. And also to make sure they smell good And, they are burning very nicely. Going to play with wicks to see if I can make it better.
