  1. I'm just wondering if it is the same seller that I got so many disgusting molds from! I mean grosssssss!!! Why anyone would treat their molds that way is beyond me, but I wouldn't even touch them when I opened the box.
  2. Laura, are you selling these now, too? Oh dear..here comes another order
  3. I've also been using this wax for a while after so many problems with other waxes and have never had to do repours or use the heat gun! It is an awesome wax, and I even add some to my soy votive wax. I'm hooked, so I hope they can keep it!
  4. I have 3 that I like and they are Greenleaf, Just Scent, and Brighterscents...None of the 3 are really spicy to me. HTH
  5. Her tins are under the embed section and I think it's the first option on there...and as far as embeds go, she's your best route!!
  6. I do mine almost a mustard color w/ some brown on the top..one of my best sellers
  7. I buy ALL of mine from Laura! She's da bomb!!
  8. I think that it sounds good, but it's all about how you want to get your candles out there. Everyone has different ideas and different strategies, and yours sounds good to me. My ideas are a little different, but that's just the way that I like to market mine. I think you will get it done, and you've got lots of good ideas!!
  9. I would set it up the same way a pampered chef party is set up...with your different style of candles, accessories, etc. and then maybe demonstrate with making your votives, tarts or whatever you want that will make enough for everyone to have one. Offer the host some kind of rewards or incentives for sales. Offer free tarts or accessories with certain amount of purchase. This is what I do and it has worked really well so far. HTH
  10. yeah, that's why I try to test in odd/unusual containers of all shapes and sizes. But from what I'm hearing, If I wick up, then it will burn too hot. I did burn in a "tight fitting" container today, and it burned properly. So, what do we do? I know as a consumer, I buy whatever I think is cute and what I'd like to put a votive in, as I am sure my customers will too. I dunno....this is why I put off making votives for sooooo long.
  11. Candleman to the rescue!!! Thanks so much! I'll let you know what the outcome is.
  12. I'm using the soy pillar blend and using a flower pot votive holder..Thanks, Scented!
  13. I have searched throught the threads for the answer to this question, and found everything but. I try not to ask too many questions, but I'm at a standstill w/ testing my votives. I am currently using the 44-24-18z's in my 2 oz. votives, and am not getting all the way across with them. Does anyone have any wick suggestions for 2 oz. votives with 1 oz. fo/lb. TIA!
  14. Would love to know the results when you burn this
  15. Thanks ya'll! I will try both of the mixing suggestions and will give some feedback after it's done...will also try JS and let you all know!
  16. I'm looking for a true caramel apple...one that doesn't smell like dirty feet. I've gotten it from two diff. suppliers and they both smell like **s. I'm affraid to order from anyone else until I know. I haven't tried Peaks..does anyone know about theirs? TIA
  17. I got mine a couple of weeks ago..and I'm finding that I'm having to wick up a little with them. Anyone else having to?
  18. Probably the same seller that I ran into on ebay! I ordered a "mixed fruit" bag,and what I got looked like jelly beans that were broke in half!!! Yeah for Laura at Tropical Breeze!!! I found her and placed my order and was really happy with everything I got from her! She is also very willing to work with you and help w/ anything needed. I use alot of embeds and have ordered through various suppliers, but I will be sticking w/ Tropical Breeze!!
  19. I use the 70/30 and if I heat at all in-between layers, I zap the section briefly w/ the heat gun. HTH
