    Brighterscents is great and you can get a 10 pk/sample pk for about $17 and Just Scent is wonderful! You can also get a 10 pk (plus 3 free) for $18. I haven't had any (except Hot buttered popcorn..ewww) that didn't throw great and/or smell like they were suppose to! Good Luck!!

    Thanks guys!! I will check out 1 lb. samples and see what I like. I started out w/ paraffin and liked it, the only reason I switched to soy was because of the flakes!! It was more convenient. Unlike most people, I think that they both throw great, and they both do great. I was using the advanced before I switched to the puresoy, and that's when I was having trouble with the cracking around my wicks. Now, it's the frosting. So are you saying that if I pour at much cooler temps., the frosting will be minimized? I will try that also...as I still have about 20 lbs. of it.

    I have made a decision to switch from the puresoy. I can't deal with the frosting...although the crisco did help it, I'm just going to use what I have left and switch. I was wondering about the pro's and cons of parasoy. The throw (hot and cold), the repour, the cracking, frosting, etc. If you use, or have used it, please give me your input on it. I'm so affraid to try new things and am all about research...but time is $$ here and am soooooo confused. Thanks all!!

    Clorox clean up will also do it. I just spray it on and let it sit. It will go away.

    Is it swirly looking? Kinda look like it got dried out? What kind of wax are you using? It's probably the same thing I've been questioning. They all told me it was frosting. I will be switching wax when I'm done w/ this. I took the heat gun to mine after they set up and it corrected most of it. HTH

    I buy all of my embeds pre-made. It seems to be cheaper, quicker, and much more efficient than buying the molds and trying to make all of them.     I have been using Brighterscents Pink Sugar for over a year now (it is one of my biggest sellers) and I've never had any problem at all with it. Just wanted to give you one more supplier;)

    Brighterscents is the one I've used for a long time...they have really good deals on their sample packs and their fo's throw great! I have recently used Just Scent (thanks to all the great people here), and I also love theirs. You will get a couple free from them. Good Luck...There are lots to choose from, finding the one you like the best is what is hard.

    Using Crisco doesnt' effect the throw? and won't make it greasy looking? I will try it since I don't have any additives right now. Thank you for all of your input. The batch I made yesterday was the first w/ this wax and I had no idea it would do that. I think I liked my cracks around my wicks better w/ the other soy I was using. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!

    yep!! That is what they looked like across the top and I didn't like it. It looked like it got messed up in the sun or something. I can't believe that I'm going to have this problem w/ the whole 25 lbs. Glad that's all I got. Thanks for all of the info!!
