I also don't clean mine and throw the water out the back door (where I have a giant spot of dead grass). The pot looks gross, but it only has water that goes in it. By the way...JS also gives you several free samples with your order and there fo's are great! IMO!

I'm also having this issue and I started w/ paraffin and switched to soy. I have just made the decision to switch back to paraffin just because of issues I've had w/ soy lately. I can tell you from my experience (and I'll give you an example: Cotton Candy) that the longer a soy candle sits (sealed up) the stronger the fo gets. It will eventually throw in soy but takes a long time of "curing" IMHO. I had a hard time w/ cotton candy because it is so light, but it sat for two weeks, burned, and threw like crazy! I don't know how much this helps you, but I just wanted to let you know what experience I've had.

I can't get it fixed which has now caused great frustration. What do you suggest I mix the pure soy with. I wish I'd known before ordering 25 lbs. of it. I guess I'm just going to go back to paraffin ( I hate the slabs). Thanks for your help!

Thanks to you all for all of the great compliments!! I just made one with the fo Banana Berry Smoothie (JS)!! I want to keep it, but it was for an order.

It is cinnamon bun scented. And yes, the melt pool goes in, so it doesn't run out. They burn for a long time! So glad you all enjoyed it! I will post more

Well, it is white in color and only across the top. Not sure what frosting looks like (hope that's okay..lol), but to me it looks like white swirls all over. I made 3 diff. sizes and shapes and all of 'em did it. Thanks

I just switched to pure soy and was wondering if the white swirls I'm getting all over the top of the candle after it has set up is normal???? I have zapped it w/ the heat gun a couple of times and it seems to be getting better. If it isn't from the pure soy, what else could it be. I only made one batch w/ it, so I don't know if this will be persistant or not. Thanks to all in advance.

I had great results with this in wax. I use the eco-pure soy. My tester loved it, also. The tarts and jars both smelled like peanut butter cookies.

I got mine from Brighterscents. I would love to find a good one, also. I did make a caramel popcorn this past weekend that wasn't as bad, but it didn't smell like caramel popcorn. So, until I can find a good one, I give up on the popcorn fo.

Where do you get your fo's for this? I would love one that smells like it is supposed to. TY!

If you find a good one let me know...but the one I got was from brighterscents. OOB and in wax was no diff. It was awful both ways.

I bought the mini loaf molds from flexiblemolds and was going to use them as tarts. I sell bunches of the grubby loaves med. and big, and thought these would be a good seller too. They are a little bigger than I thought to be used for tarts. Anyone have any suggestions on these?? I thought maybe of wicking down and making really small loaves with wicks but am unsure of how they'd burn. Maybe I can just use them as "fixins" on my big orders. I am open for any suggestions. I also bought the little muffin mold that IMO is also too big for tarts. ???? I need to get my imagination wheels turning on these. :rolleyes2

Has anyone tried this in wax?? EWWWW!! I have not found an fo that smells as bad as this. It reminds me of the skating rink when I was a kid. All of the dirty feet running around. I put it in wax and there is no way that I will try to sell this. I was wondering how you've all done with this one??

You've gotta try the Apple Torte from JS. It is wonderful!! IMO it is one of the best apple fo's.

I also love, love, love the Apple torte and the Bear Claw!! Sold them all this weekend!! Decided to bring back one of the Vanilla Wafer since my tester raved so much about this one. I wanted one for me too! That's bad, huh? Gotta try the others! Thumbs up to Becky at JS!!
