    Help please!!

I use the bags from Hobby Lobby in the candy section
  2. wow! I don't understand a word of Swedish, but your label screams class act. The only thing I could suggest would be to cut them from a full sheet and lose the rounded corners (I have a thing about those corners). Perhaps printed on a very pastel color other than white?
  3. I understand the paranoia, but all you had to do was hover over it and the address appears in your status bar or tool bar or whatever the heck it is called.
  4. The blog post says she bought them at Michael's for $1.
  5. I want to know where you are getting FO that is less than $1 an ounce? You must live next door to a supplier. oh, my bad...$1.00 for a 16 ounce bottle with 4 ounces of FO - that's under a quarter an ounce. hmmm And, yes, spray that alcohol around a lit candle or while holding a cigarette and you could have trouble.
  6. I got pin holes from pouring too hot in a cold mold. Warm the mold a bit and after you pour gently tap the sides to release trapped air.
  7. sks has some, but how about these... http://www.usplastic.com/catalog/item.aspx?itemid=24752
  8. There were candles in all of them? I just saw sunshine and blue skies. Actually, they are pretty cool, but #3 is awesome!
  9. http://loopeedesign.com/index.php/accessories-bags-candles-plants-containers-dogs/candles.html search Bravit candle to see a time lapse video. These would be fun to try and make...sure couldn't afford to buy one!
  10. I make ornies with my aroma beads. I have a small suction cup hook hanging in my son's bedroom window. I hang an ornie on it. Looks pretty and when the sun hits it, his room smells great!
  11. When I used to make individual tarts (went to clamshells, also) I wrapped 2 of them top to top with a cigar band type label wrapped around. Don't use Saran wrap - learned that the hard way. I went to cello bags but they didn't look as neat. Shrink wrap would work. I do like the tins, but even at a buck that's some expensive packaging.
  12. Wow! This thread is from 2006! I printed the picture on everyday white paper, trimmed it and embedded it in the wax.
  13. I tried wrapping in parchment paper but the labels wouldn't stick. duh!
  14. It rocks! I only use at 3 or 4%. It's a true rose, in my opinion.
  15. adorable! I really like the first one with the sea horse and lobster. Too cute. (I spend too much time on facebook - kept looking for the 'like' button.)
  16. Very pretty. I would suggest filling your loaf pans more. I get a full 9 ounces in mine. I really like the red and white in the candy cane dish!
  17. Thanks for the clarification, CareBear....unfortunately, we now have 3 different answers to the original question hmmmm
  18. length of your mold x width of your mold x height/depth of soap bars x .40 = ounces of soap formula I found this on another website. Now, that doesn't work for mm....194400 ounces. http://www.onlineconversion.com/ this works for converting anything 90mm = 3.5"; 60mm = 2.6" (3.5x3.5x2.6)x.40=12.7 ounces hope it helps...
  19. Don't know if you can still find them but several people have mentioned Velveta cheese keepers - square sides and hold about 2 pounds. I have an organizer I picked up from the dollar store and a miter box I picked up at Harbor Freight. It's not hi-tech, but it works.
  20. very cool! Techies will love them! (I know my son would!)
  21. I like the labels a lot. Hopefully, the smaller print is easier to read in person than on my monitor. I do not put weight on my pillars - I put size such as 3x3 or 3x4. I have never seen weight listed on a pillar. I do put net weight on my jars and melts, but size on pillars.
  22. M&P is a lot of fun, isn't it? I love the little piggies!
  23. I tried the sand and found it too messy. I have a plastic tote with rice in it. It works perfectly well and I don't see a need to "improve" on it.
  24. My daughter made some ornaments where she cut lines out of an old Christmas Carol book and used ModPodge to stick them all around the ball. They were really cute. If you could find (print or draw) names or fancy initials and put over the text they would be personalized, cheap and cute.
