  1. Thanks so much for your reply 8-GRAIN-ONES. Much appreciated! I so hate to just throw it all away... Shouldn't have forgotten about it
  2. I used to buy CP soap from someone to make handmilled soaps. I just found a box of soaps in the back of my closet that are about 4 years old. They smell funny to me, not real bad but I wouldn't want that weird scent of the soap (which is unscented) to stay on my hands/body! Is this soap bad and no longer any good for handmilling? Do you think if I shred it and scent it that would cover the bad smell? I'm hoping that some of you CP pros can help me with this. I thought that CP soap lasted for many years. It was made with palm oil, coconut oil, olive oil, castor oil, soywax, and shea butter. Should I take a chance and go through all the work of rebatching this? I appreciate any help I can get with this! TIA! Lorraine
  3. I use mica from Peaks, BCN, and Brambleberry to color my soap. I mix it in my FO first and then add the FO/Mica into the melted soap. Works well for me!
  4. Thanks Georgia and Candybee. I wish I could find one of those velveta boxes! I have looked for one of those in the past and then gave up. May be time to start looking again! I'll check out WSP again and look at Brambleberry! Thanks again!
  5. Whisper Girl~ too funny! I'm so terrible at math and need all the help I can get! Thanks for your reply Georgia, and for the online conversion link!!! Wow! I have book marked that for future reference and hopefully will be able to figure out how to use it! LOL! I'm so bad! But at least my hubby can help me there! periwinkle~ how did you do that! LOL!!! You must be a whiz! You're incredible! Thank you!!! So appreciate your help!
  6. If a square was 90mm length, 90mm width, 65mm height....how much would this hold in ounces? I posted this on my other thread but thought I'd post it on a new thread by itself in hopes that someone might see it that can help. Thanks!
  7. Hi Kitn~ thanks for your reply. I do have a 1 lb and a 3 lb plastic drawer organizer that I picked up at the Dollar Store and they work great except for the fact that they sort of flare out on the ends and does not produce that nice square shaped bar! So between the flared out ends and my cutting abilities...well...not so pretty! lol! Been searching for a nice square mold like WSP's. I love your idea of making a divider and using tape! I might give that a try! Good to hear that Happy DIY's molds are nice. Think I'll order the mold that I believe holds about 22.6 ounces and I just found another one on there that is 90mm by 90mm by 65mm but I'm not exactly sure how many ounces it holds! I'm guessing (with the help of my hubby) that it holds approx. 17 ounces????? Anyone out there with super math abilities??? I could use some help! Fast! LOL! Seriously, anyone???
  8. Can anyone tell me where I can purchase small log molds for MP soap? I have the 3 lb. one from WSP and love it but I don't always want to make 3 lbs of the same scent unless I plan on giving some as gifts. I found a small one on ebay (Happy DIY) that holds about 22.6 oz. Anyone ever purchase from there before? If so, what was your experience? I may just go ahead and purchase that one but before I do I thought maybe someone here could tell me where to find a 1 lb., 1 & 1/2 lb., or 2 lb. log mold. Thanks for your help!
  9. Really nice! Love the Legos! I'm sure your boys love them too!
  10. Wow! Beautiful soaps! I love them all!
  11. Your products are just beautiful! I love every one of them! Thanks for sharing!
  12. Thank you all so much for taking the time to look and for all of your kind words. It means so much to me coming from this wonderful group of talented and creative people. A million thanks!
  13. So happy they replaced your order for you! WOW! I LOVE Candle Sceince!
  14. Holy Moly! This was so confusing! My hubby and I tried to post the logs and then the cut soaps in order but the computer has a mind of it's own and did them all out of order! Oh well, at least I got the pics up here! LOL! The one log is cranberry orange spice. The cut pics have little red and orange chunks. The other log is my gold, frankincense and myrrh. The cut pics are sort of swirls. Oh! fragranced with CS frankincense and myrrh! The leaves are also cranberry orange spice, and the shells are also gold, frankincense and myrrh. Whew! Hope I made sense here! LOL! Thanks for looking!
