  1. I usually only make Bath Salts on holidays, so this Christmas I'm going to sell these 70g Bath Salts at the craft shows etc considering most people are looking for something little, and cheap to buy just so they have boughten something! You know me, I strive for simple........so here are some simple labels and packaging for these bath salts (ingredients etc. on the bottom label)
  2. Way cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You really have to take a double look at it! Great job!
  3. Well I added the cut pics.........cry...........I suck, I knew it.
  4. I love that! What great colors! I think they look awesome!
  5. Trust me, the dark brown was purple! I added the paprika and tumeric to it and it went that dark brown! I was pretty happy about that. Thanks for the nice comments, I just wish I could make this kind of soap in a pan mold instead of a 'loaf' mold.......but the pan mold swirls just don't work out right for me most times!
  6. Such beautiful orange colors! I love orange! Great swirls too!
  7. I like the labels too, I had no real complaints when I first saw it, but reading other peoples' responses it makes sense. A vertical label would make more sense, and maybe adding a picture. It is alot of wording on the label also, but I know you kind of have to for label regulations (ingredients, quantity etc.) Otherwise the bottles are cool and the idea is fabulous!
  8. Here is a Sandalwood Patchouli soap that was requested or shall I say hinted many times by a few customers now! I used what I thought was a black colorant, I was planning on making this a dark grey/cream colored soap until the black colorant turned out to be purple. (A new hard colorant I've never used) so I added paprika and tumeric to make a few new colors. I have a feeling the swirls didn't go all the way through so I can't get too exited yet! I knew it - Pooey - The swirls didn't go all the way though! If this were a slab mold, I would have been satisfied!
  9. What a great combination, and a good way to reuse some soap that was too strong on the FO. Perfect!!
  10. Ohhhh I'm smellin chocolate!!!!!!!! Nice swirls, that soap looks to-die-for!
  11. They look great! Beautiful swirls as always! Great scent choices!!!! I didn't realize that cinnamon misbehaves in CP. I have Cinnamon Leaf EO I was thinking of using to make a soap with......I'll have to look into it a little farther.
  12. Yowsers! That's such a bright brillant yellow! It makes me miss the summer sunshine!
  13. I sure wish I was your local tester for your products! This looks so awesome!
  14. Just a quick question: does anyone actually know what goes in baby soap that says NO TEARS?
  15. I've never had a problem with Lavender EO. I just love the smell of it in CP soap! I agree that CP soap can really hurt your eyes if you get it in there, maybe I should mention in a little blurb that it is not a 'no tears' shampoo/soap.......?!
  16. I was really pleased with the soft lavender color I made for this soap (from brick red and blue powdered colorant) I think it should go over well as a 'baby' soap. It is made my 90% Olive Oil recipe with Lavender Essential Oil added. I did not wait anytime at all to layer the top with the purple, I just mixed the soap to a longer trace so it would thicken up a little more.
  17. Well I cut them into small squares and will sell 3 small soaps in a package together. It has to look different so people know it's a shampoo bar. Here is it cut:
  18. It does look pretty! Does it stay that way? If I didn't know any better I would just think it was meant to look that way!
  19. Here are a few simple Christmas soap sets I am going to sell at my daughters Christmas Craft Show at her school. Any opinions, suggestions are welcome!??? Kid/Teen Soap Box - with 1 washcloth and 3 soaps Family Soap Gift Tin - with 3 washcloths and 5 Soaps 1 Soap Gift Box
  20. Wow what a fabulous citrus color! I want to smell it! Ahhhhhh
  21. I was asked by a woman who just opened up a store if I sold wholesale. I wanted to bring in a few samples for her and a sheet explaining how my much of a discount per soap etc. and how many soap minimum to be eligable. I guess it would be good to have anyways incase anyone else asked as well. How can I go about explaining this? How do you do it? What do you say?
  22. Agreed, that's what I'm going to do then! Thanks for the advice. I don't really care too much about the little blue unencorporated spots so that's what I'll do!!!!!!! Thanks!
