  1. For most everything I use spooled wick..its cheaper. I don't do many jars but when I do I use the htp's or lx that are tabbed.
  2. Well I guess this one got talked to death. Using the search feature on CT is a great idea...but you can search the internet too. http://candleandsoap.about.com/od/candlemakinginstructions/ss/balooncandle.htm
  3. Candle looks great. I make my pillars like this too. I obmit the stearic though.
  4. Definitly add your Easter stuff. I've already sold quite of bit of my Spring/Easter themed stuff at the two home parties I did. I thought it would be too early to set it out but I guess not.
  5. Congrats Shell. I don't have suggestions for sniffies but I like the condiment cup idea.
  6. I never used forms for my wholesale accounts only the ones that were consignment. This place has nice forms http://www.candlebusinesscorner.com/forms/
  7. Leaks sure can be a pain in the a$$. I love the look of palm wax and you got the perfect blue color.
  8. I used to use the zinc cores that came assembled and always had to give it an extra crimp to make sure the wick was tight.
  9. Apperantly your not using wick tabs. Might want to think about getting some of those.
  10. I would love to know too. I have a roll sitting here that my neighbor gave me and I'm not sure about it. He said he got it from a moving company.
  11. I use the full sheet labels for mine. I can fit 10 labels on one sheet and then cut em out. I don't use the kraft labels so I'm not sure if you can get those in full sheets.
  12. I like the label. But for me its alot of blue. IMO I would change the fonts to white or black and only leave graphic blue.
  13. When I first started to package these I put two in a ploly bag with a tent card stapled to it. But the poor things alway got broke. Customers are not gentle people. So now I shrink wrap em individually and stick in a basket.
  14. Looks great Lin. I don't care much for the "grubby look" either. But your cake looks like it just has extra icing on it...and I love extra icing!!
  15. The .99 ones in the houseware section are nice jars. I've been trying to get away from having to carry this jar. I just hate to double wick.
  16. Today is my play day. Heck all of next is my play day:D I get to make whatever I want. So today I'm gonna pour me some cappiccino hazelnut Pillars. Layered maybe...maybe some marbled. I really need to start testing the strawberry Fo's I bought a couple months ago. So I might get started on that next week.
  17. I pull out the wick pin and wick it before I do my second pour. That way the wick is totally secured with the second pour.
  18. I love the labels. They look great
  19. Looks great! Very eye catching.
  20. I buy most of my wick spools from glory bee http://www.glorybeefoods.com/gbf/Shop_List.cfm?PC=4&PSC=83&ProductCat_Name=Wicking%20&%20Accessories&Token=207.200.116.132:{ts_2006-03-02_19:10:06}-906385
