  1. I do use their soywax because when I first signed up they had a promotion.Anyway because of a screw up I got 30 pounds free. I am having a heck of a time getting this wax wicked right. I haven't however had a problem with smooth tops. It does frost quite a bit but a little paraffin mixed in with it solves that problem. As for the wicking maybe I should try their wicks. I've never bought anything from them. I like being able to buy my stuff separately and found better wax.
  2. Thanks so much for sharing this I can't wait to try it.
  3. I know one person said she was getting wonderful results with the Eco 4 in the 8 ounce jj's and that seems to be the consensus for many of them. I have a 6 ounce hex with a #4 that I tested it drowned out but it was because I had too much fo in it. HTH
  4. I've not used any of their regular waxes but I have used their dyes and fo's. I'm very pleased with the results of the dyes and fo's. The dyes a little goes a long way. I've used their gel wax also and like it. I wait til the have a 40% off coupon and buy the gel lol Saves me quite a bit and no shipping to have to pay. HTH
  5. I think I'm right on this. The fluid ounces would be for liquids. If I'm not right someone will chime in.
  6. The WD40 also works great for taking labels off of plastic bottles to. Just an FYI
  7. I gave up on getting one I pm'd twice and posted still havent gotten it
  8. I ordered some Palm Wax (it says container on the ziploc)from the classifieds. I poured up a 6 ounce hex to test it. It has cooled and it's crystalized and very hard not like any container wax I've ever seen. It is rock hard so I'm thinking it was mislabeled and it's a pillar wax which is what I thought I was buying in the first place lol. Any help please!!!
  9. Which of these wicks burn hotter?
  10. I use the wooden skewers and popscicle sticks.
  11. I have definitely got to try this. I don't have any little kiddos but I'm sure I can find some to test for me lol
  12. I purchased a shortcake mold. I'm wondering the best type of wax to use in it. Right now all i have is a little 160, 70/30 container and palm wax container. I know the container waxes won't work. Will the regular paraffin that you can get at the grocery store or Michael's work?
  13. On most of them that I have seen yes it is gel wax. I'm going to try a shortcake with the glaze over the top.
  14. I would love to have that spread sheet. ladysjdenton@sbcglobal.net Thank you so much for doing this.
  15. Those are very nice. I am so wanting to try carving candles. I hope mine look that good on my first try.
  16. Very nice. Now I know what I'm going to do with all my rejects lol Sure doesn't long to get those kind.
  17. Sorry I don't have the recipe it was purchased a pre-made base.
  18. Do you have to put Net Weight 8 Ounces or can you just say 8 ounces?
  19. I do my own printing also. I like that fact that I don't have to print a whole sheet of the same fragrance because I don't usually make up that much of one fragrance. I would like however, to have the link for BizzyB. I would like a really nice design. Kind of hard to find on some of the print programs.
  20. I made up a 4 ounce jj I didn't let it burn for the full 3 hours. I re-lit this morning and the wick is wanting to burn out. Is this because I didn't let it come to a full melt pool or too much fo. I used a Eco #6
  21. Yes it is. I flunked math needless to say lmao Well not really but it was close. Thanks for the help
  22. I was just too excited to wait that long lol I'm doing a second burn this morning. This is definitely going to be my wax for containers from now.
