Thank you. No actually they weren't. I was amazed how easily they came out. I also read somewhere that using Castor Oil makes them dry alot harder. Since I don't have a bathtub only a shower lmao I'll have to give one to my daughter to test it.
I'm not crazy about the bath boms shapes. All I had was ice cube trays lol They did however turn out rock hard and these were the first ones I've made. They are scented Lilac and Energizing Peppermint/Eucalyptus. I'm working on getting some bath sets with candles made up for Mothers Day.
Has anyone just used rock salt to make bath salts? Pro's con's on it. I have some and thought I would use it for a coarser bath salt and add some dendritic to help hold the fragrance.
They aren't real wet. Just wanted to make sure they were drier before packaging so they hopefully won't clump. I added some grapeseed oil for moisturizing.
I would like to try this wax. Where did you purchase it? I'm about at my wits end with the pure soy flakes with no scent throw and testing and testing all different kinds of wicks to get a proper melt pool.
Wow I'm going to have to get some of this. I found solar salt on a website it was so cheap was going to order some but wasn't sure what it was or the actual properties part of it. Anyone know the benefits of using it?
I have over 20 pounds of soy flakes and I'm gonna try this 50/50 deal. I have 160 wax pellets. I'm assuming that this would work to use. I wonder if this would work/be strong enough for pillars.
I like it. Simple yet elegant, not too much foo foo As for the sideways lmao I have Publisher and that's the way all of mine have to be made. Kind of aggrevating having to crook your head. I think it looks very nice.
Dont mean to break the thread but I forgot to ask you what size/type of wicks are you using for those jars? This wicking thing is driving me nuts:confused:
Well how totally cool!!! I bought clothespins and popscicle sticks just couldnt figure out how to make them work across long areas. Seems like it would work alot better than those wick centering thingy's which I can't get to work very well or tying them around bamboo skewers. Gonna have to try this
