  1. Thanks Maybe some nice person will start one HINT HINT HINT Candleman where do you purchase yours if you don't mind my asking?
  2. I'm using the Vybar 103 in 100% soy flakes. I do find that it sinks and I have to repour but I've had no frosting at all with it. Thank you for the link. I've been reading over it and it's very informative. It may just be my nose but it does seem that the BW has affected the true scent some. It hasn't set up yet. I just poured them a little bit ago so I will see how it smells tomorrow. It is a very strong FO though. Wine and Roses at a little over 1 ounce pp.
  3. I'm looking for someone that carries the spray bottles in colors like red, green, blue yellow. TIA
  4. I live in Arkansas. The only place i've looked for it was at BC. I can't afford to buy it in that large a quantity yet lol
  5. I was just figuring up the price of a 16 ounce bottle. Including shipping this is going to cost me about .81 per ounce. That seems awful high to me. Do those of you that use it just make smaller size bottles? It just seems kind of expensive to be able to re-sell. Any thoughts/help on this and pricing is greatly appreciated.
  6. I know I found this some where on here before but I can't for the life of me find it now. Could someone please help?
  7. Do you add the beeswax to the soy after it's melted? I'd really like to try this with my soy flakes. That frosting drives me crazy. I have found that adding vybar to the soy prevents frosting and makes for a prettier candle. Do you have to do a repour when adding beeswax?
  8. I know there for a while I was receiving emails from PayPal several times a week about my account being as set as limited because someone was trying to use it. Man guess nothing is safe anymore. Gotta figure out now how I'm going to pay for purchases in a safer way.
  9. Some one must have had a cup of coffee and took it to eat with their coffee lol
  10. Thanks for the help. How about Little Rock Lather and Lights?
  11. microsoft.com has quite a few to select from.
  12. I was just wondering what I would ask them when I contact them. I'm totally new to this. TIA I too am trying to find ways to get my products out for people to see.
  13. Oh man I sooooooooo want to get in on this. I've been reading for months and wanting to make soap real bad even had a friend make a box mold for me. I am just so broke I can't pay attention Maybe I can scrape here and there. Would rebatch count? I forgot to ask do I have to have a stick blender? I know it helps trace quicker.
  14. LOL I guess that would have helped. I live in Little Rock, AR I make candles and B&B my labels are primative for my candles and more on the elegant side for my B&B but I'm looking for something other than primative it seems that's a very popular style. Arkansas is the home of the Razorbacks BIG FAN's here. We also have Hot Springs which is very big tourist attraction. So I'm just looking for something that grabs me lol if that makes sense.
  15. I've been racking my brain trying to come up with a company name and keep coming up with a dead end. Any creative minds out there that are willing to throw some out for me? How do I find out if what I've come up with has already been taken?
  16. Thank you everyone for your help and input on this. I can't wait to play with it lol Breanna your site is very nice.
  17. I am thinking of using decals on my candles/hurricanes. Is there any instructions as to how to do this or anything special that I need to do? Do I need to dip them after they are applied?
  18. I bought one of these yesterday it's 6x5 1/2 inches give or take. I am using 100% soy flakes. I know it's going to have to be double wicked just not sure which to try. Right now all I have are Eco 1', 4's, 6's and 10's. Would any of these work?
  19. I have a grubby loaf mold. I don't have any wick pins. So I'm looking for an alternative to them and since I've never wicked anything except molds with wick holes I have no clue as to how to go about wicking this. it is 6 1/2x4x3 inches. I don't know if it should be 2 or 3 wicks. I will be using straight paraffin. Any help or input will be greatly appreciated.
  20. WOW that is cool looking. How big is that sucker? lol
  21. I wasn't sure how else to word this. I'm using Palm and heating to 200. I have been having to let it cool to about 140 to pour. If I pour any hotter it melts the putty and runs out the bottom. What is the best way to plug the holes to where I can pour at a hotter temp and it won't spring a leak?
  22. What an awesome idea. Doesn't it mash the rose bud or does it kind of fluff back up? I would love to see one.
  23. That is fabulous. How do you get that smooth a wax lol
  24. I wonder if a whipped M&P would adhere to them. Maybe spread it around and just overlap the sides. Gonna have to try that and see.
  25. Thank you so much Chris for this very helpful input. I found out the hard way about touching the embeds after I put them in the wax. I can't wait to make more now. They look so cool.
