Actually I know this may sound kind of strange lmao I'm using soy wax. I made one without the crust just to see how it would do and so far I'm really pleased. I just have a hard time getting my wicks to stand up straight without tying them around the little bamboo sticks lol
What is the easiest way to wick these? Is it better to wait until the wax starts to set a little then stick the wicks down in the wax? I seem to have trouble getting them to stand up straight if I put the wicks in first and then pour the wax.
I am needing ice cube embeds for my gel wax glasses. Is there anyway that I can make my own? Would a regular wax work for this? I have some 160wax. Sorry I thought I put this under a new thread.
I'm using a 5" pie tin for my container. The RRD50 says for approx. a 3.75" container, the RRD55 says for approx. a 4 to 4.5" container. I'm figuring that I'm going to have to double wick this. The RRD37 says 2.5" to 3" would I just use 2 of the RRD37's to make it cover a 5"container since doubling that would equal about 5-6 inches? Am I on the right track here. Any help suggestions greatly appreciated.
LOL I am seriously thinking of ordering some. I'm sure some of the guys out there would love that smell. I just don't think I could deal with it lmao Thank you.
Yes you are right the M&P is by far the easiest and quickest way to melt soap. There are so many things you can do with it. There is a pic of some one that layered M&P and it was gorgeous.
Sorry for all of the questions tonight. I'm using a 10 ounce mug. The only wicks that I have are the RRD's. I have 55, 50, 47, 40, 37. Which would you suggest trying to start?
I have a 10 ounce container. How do I figure how many ounces of FO to add add to this. I've 3/4 oz pp so I'm not really sure. I suck at math and calculations so TIA for your help.
I do have Olive Oil, Canola. I'm not very mathematically inclined so when I see recipes with percentages instead of ounces it really confuses me. I'll check out the tutorial and the link. Thank you
