  1. I don't have experience with this specifically but I'm guessing it might help if you list how much fragrance you used per pound of wax. If there are pools of oil, I'm assuming there is too much FO to be incorporated fully in the wax. If its just pockets, it could be a moisture or cooling thing?
  2. I like the smell of their cleaning products, but I think the most I've done with the candles is smell the CT in store. It does make me less worried. I would love to see retail candle reviews here.
  3. I'm still looking at some from joannes They have a lot.
  4. Most of the ones I've tried out seem Christmassy. I guess I like cookies, cranberries, nuts, and spice. These are ones I'd go for year round, though, too.
  5. On one hand I like really simple design and functionality, on the other, cuteness. As a customer, if it costs more due to labor or molds, I would just go with simpler melts. I'm also one that doesn't personally need color in wax. At the same time I would definitely buy fun molded/colored melts that didn't cost significantly more per ounce. I just got some molds, excited to try them out.
  6. Interested because the coconut blend I'm trying seems to go super fast. 😌
  7. 😑 Or rather, everyone has a word that bothers them, ykwim. 😅
  8. I am going to refrain from using those two words together, @iansmommaya ...even though it's tempting. Hmmm pumpkin bread. 😋 I'm sure there's an irritating word for everyone. 🤗
  9. Washi window shopping is what I mostly do. I should use what I already have, more. I definitely want a rainbow set like this though...https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CVZMRYJ/ref=sspa_dk_detail_0?psc=1&pd_rd_i=B07CVZMRYJ&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_p=f52e26da-1287-4616-824b-efc564ff75a4&pf_rd_r=G6SVHP8PN5A8SVBS5QFW&pd_rd_wg=525c7&pf_rd_s=desktop-dp-sims&pf_rd_t=40701&pd_rd_w=ShxuR&pf_rd_i=desktop-dp-sims&pd_rd_r=160b3327-c996-11e8-bad0-51e994ee02c6
  10. Washi tape is a great idea!😍 You can color code with washi. Washi tape is similar to painter's tape or masking tape, but comes in decorative prints and colors.
  11. I've gotten a few from other suppliers, and I'm still deciding on who to go through. Those were just the ones I felt confident sharing.
  12. Haven't sold any yet, but from testers' reactions: BB, Gingersnap (they disliked Buttermints now discontinued, which I loved) RE's Champagne, Caramel Pretzel Bar Nurture: just about everything. These fragrances OOB were really liked by everyone. All of them. Heard the words fresh and spa a lot. The few I've tested did fine in wax at 6%. Some are expensive, so I'm not sure how practical those will be.
  13. Looks very pretty to me @ScentedPleasurez. I got a back injury a while back, that has changed my life in terms of chronic pain. My mom has been through several back surgeries herself, so I hear you all on that.
  14. This type of thing contributes to why I'm stubborn enough to insist on original artwork and lettering for future stuff. (Helps that my SO is a graphic designer). Not because there's anything wrong with using fonts and images currently available, but because is It's going to be copyrighted to us. It might take me longer but it will be worth it. I'm glad there's some kind of protection with Trade Dress @iansmommaya. Going to read about that. As far as product type copying, unless you have a patent (not sure how that works), any one can create a product type, no? I understand the concern about that. If you're more comfortable, maybe you can build your brand and presence first, then introduce it. From what I've read, it seems like there's a balance between knowing, and acting on what you can protect, and letting go of the things you can't control, focusing on, and promoting your own unique way of doing something. When somebody copies a whole line? Man, that's a lot of unwanted trouble and frustration. It looks like Etsy will remove copycats of that degree, how expedient is the process is for the original creator? Smh. I'd much rather support the person who gives credit where credit is due.
  15. I'm not surprised. Just saddened. A big demotivator. It's so expensive to trademark (etc?) everything. It seems like that's the biggest thing you can do to protect yourself.
  16. Their names and descriptions are great.
  17. Oh, no, another supplier. 😱 I'm lookin' at their Rocky Mountain FO.
  18. Hello there. Soy will be an interesting journey. I'm still looking for the right one. Only been at it a year.
  19. Oh my. She's discovered that rice, beans and bananas are inexpensive, people! That loaf is big. Whoa. Looks like coconut oil.
  20. Ugh. I can't even with Pine-sol. Always hated it, but a roommate used to clean the kitchen with it when I was pregnant and sensitive to everything within a mile radius (shudders). Mmm... pizz-sol. 🤢
  21. I like all of Mrs Meyer's stuff. So maybe Rosemary, Basil, Lemongrass... those might work.
  22. Darn, that would have been great for those who are buying bulk. I guess it would work for one lb. They can run pretty expensive per pound.
  23. Source http://www.wholesalesuppliesplus.com/coupons.aspx (if this thread isn't supposed to be here I totally understand if it needs to be deleted).
  24. Another massive sale to enable our FO addictions. Seems like a pretty good deal if you're needing to order bigger bottles.
