  1. I like to soak my feet in a warm bath with plain old baking soda, it helps to soften and you should be able to rub off some of the dead skin! if you have a foot scrubber that helps too. 1 treatment is not going to work miracles. Consistency is the key and then I use my foot balm lotion and cover with saran wrap and socks. Works for me!!!!
  2. Ohhhh thank you for more suggestions. Where would you get a leather fo that is good in cp soaps that does not seize!!!
  3. Thank you to everyone that responded. I now have some starting points.
  4. I have two bottles of GB, I love the scent, but can't give it away to my customers. Anyone have any scent combos that would work with the GB. This is for cp soaps. All help will be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks
  5. If I were to try for a Lacey effect. I would not use a log mold. I would use a large silicone cake liner with a lace or floral design. Lay on the bottom of your mold. Pour your soap, and maybe you could find a dress shaped cookie cutter and cut out your soaps. Just an idea.
  6. I love their Micas and I also love their silicone log molds, I have ten so far and will eventually get more. No lining of molds and the soap slips right out...Pure Perfection and the service is Fantastic!!!!!!
  7. I make a whole lot of lip balm, I divided it up into 6 oz plastic containers with a tight fitting lid write date on the top and then freeze. I take out what I need for an order, then throw back in the freezer..
  8. I like to use clear bags, so people can see your product as your customers carry around their purchases...
  9. I've mixed Sandalwood, Rose and Vanilla together, Yums!!! Rose, Strawberry and Vanilla, a different version of Baby Powder.
  10. No Figging Scent Sorry I couldn't resist.... Mags
  11. I do have a website. I do not spend much time on it. I sell at our Local Farmers Market during the Spring to the Fall season. My website really comes in handy for the Out of Area Customers that want to re-order!!!! I have developed a great customer base for using my website...
  12. For my first wholesale account. I browsed the store before making a decision as to what type of product they sell. I called the manager to have a chat to see if they were interested in carrying my product, and she said yes. This store has a Western Theme so I designed Western Brown labels with Western Sayings for my soaps. I also made a wooden soap box to carry the soaps and I arrived with the whole set up and showed them to the manager. She was so impressed, she loved the design and bought the entire lot.. I was soooooo excited and today they are still carrying my products...
  13. I create my labels from a free down load of Design Pro. I have used this program for over 10 years and it does the job. I also use clear labels from online labels. they work excellent. I use mostly black ink and have only my logo colored to match the scents!!!! Works for me!!!!!
  14. I also use online labels, clear full sheets. I designed my own labels on pro design and Just print. I love their labels.
  15. I read on here that some peoples, add stearic acid to their IGI 4786 wax for their melts. To make them a little harder to get out of the clamshells. Does anyone know how much to add. Thanks Hugs Maggie
  16. Thanks everyone, anymore scents that are beachy?
  17. Does any one have great Beachy Candle Scents, coconut/ blends, other scents. I use 4786 and I also use soy waxes. Thanks for sharing! Hugs Maggie
  18. Thank you to everyone that responded, I am only using this wax for melts. Is there anyone that would like to add more.. This will be greatly appreciated. Hugs Maggie
  19. I am on the hunt for scents for my wax melts. That work awesome in 4786 wax. Does anyone have any great scents that they would care to share. These are the ones that I really like so far and they are good and strong and they waft through out the house. Sweet Berry Delites, JS Homespun Sugar BS or BN ? not sure which one. Sugared Spruce Kiwi Lime Thanks: Hugs Maggie
  20. Take a deep deep breath and all will be good:tongue2: If you can't find a spinner rack, hit the thrift stores for the longer skinnier baskets. Take a clam shell melt with you to make sure that they fit. You can do various scents in each basket just put index cards, (they stagger so you can see the scent names) between scents and add the scent name to the top. Also have a basket with one of each scent so that people can sniff and oohh and ahhh about how wonderful they smell, lol. Also Try to display them on a step shelf for the baskets. Its easy to do if you have heavy cardboard boxes...and cover with a nice cloth. Or if your displaying the melts in the portion cups or made in the metal tart tins. You cook use large wide glass jars or plastic.....Just some ideas.. For your table cloth I would hit the fabric store in the clearance section and buy some fabric that is non wrinkling. I've spent maybe 8.00 at the most...I use a darker color on the bottom and and different color on top...If you want a color scheme, then you can do some matching, try and do only solid colors...Too busy a fabric takes away from your display. If its a fall display I would go in the fall warm colors.. What I like to do is set my display up at home, and when your display is exactly the way that you like. Take a picture with you so you can see where things should go, incase you forget.. I also like to have most of my displays filled with my stock. Like the wax melts in all the baskets they would be ready to go. My soap box display is filled. It makes setting up so much faster and easier. Price signs for your products, I print them from my computer.. If you need anymore more ideas just ask please.. I hope I helped out a wee bit. Good luck!!!!!!! Hugs Maggie
  21. I've stamped my wax melts with my business Name... It looks cool. I didn't use ink though. The stamp just made an impression.
