Here are the soap decks I made outta wall trim these are made out of Oak...I sealed them with a good varnish...It was a while ago...I can't remember the name....sorry...But they were really cheap to make.....HTH's and I also include a pic of them with some of my soaps. Hugs Maggie

I was wondering if a pouring pot has to be stainless steel or you can use an aluminum coffee pot that you use for camping...LOL... I was wondering what is recommended...Thanks... Hugs Maggie

I can share your excitement with doing your first votives..cause I just did mine a couple of days ago too with the flower embeds....You did a wonderful job....I bet they smell yummy and they look FANTABULOUS... Hugs Maggie

OH no spending more money...I spend so much money on B$B supplies already.... and where in Heck am I going to hide more supplies.... Your too funny Donita.... Michi wrote!!!!!! Michi..I am sooo proud of these....it was quite the expierment..with wax splooshing in my bangs....think of the movie what about Mary and that was me....so hillarious....don't push the flowers done until the wax is completely cooled I poured at 165 ish..let set for a few hours..I added the flower then did a second pour at a higher temp me thinks around 175 ish ...I had one candle seperate..the wax must have cooled ... I did use wick pins...and I used the wick pins to poke a hole in my flower embeds....I did do a lot of reading before hand and I had a good coach earlier on in the day....I just made another batch of LUV Spell....they are cooling as we speak.....See I told you all I am addicted...after my first votives....waaaaaaahhhhh HELP ME....Joking of course.... ;) Tanks everyone your comments have helped me to make more....I can now tell my Hubby you have all helped with my addicton....I'm ducking and hiding now:D .... The mold I used was a silicone mold from the Superstore....my friends sent it to me and they work awesome!!!!! Thanks again everyone...I think I am hooked on making votives....Just what I need another thing to do..... :D SHHHHHHH don't tell my Hubby please....MUMS the word right!!!!! Hugs Maggie

Here are my first attempts at votives....It was a last minute decision to make these....I created as I went....usually I plan out every step... These I call Strawberry Twist...(strawberry with a touch of lime)..so yummy!!!!! I used Soy Wax.... Do you wanna see!!!!!! Here they are....I am soooo excited I actually made these...can't u tell.... May I make a suggestion? I don;t do melt and pour sopas but have seen lots of them...How about two soaps one white soap with blue chunks and a blue soap with white chunks...HTH's and do them both the same fo.... Hugs Maggie
