  1. I am on the hunt for a Serger, my friend has had one for many years the Janome, My Lock 134D and she has been very very happy with her machine. I heard Janome is a very good brand. I would love one that is self threading. I am looking at this one so far. Janome MyLock 634D Overlock Serger, with Self Threading, any one have any reviews on this machine or reviews on other type of Sergers that are good to, all help will be appreciated! Hugs Maggie

  9. I had the same problem with cutting the wax..I asked my hubs to cut the wax for me andddddddddddd he used a hammer..He just held the wax up and wacked it on the corners and it broke into chunks.. who knew ths would work..He did it so fast it was amazing to watch.. HTH's maggie

  11. for the labeling, I use design pro and measured what size I needed then made a customs label..I use the clear 8x11 labels and cut them.... Hugs Maggie

  13. Here are some mini lip balms I made for my first Christmas sale which is on Saturday November 6th...I sure hope these sell...I made a whole boat load of them.... The gingerbread lip balm, for the label I used a gingerbread man I drew and painted many years ago. I decided to scan the gingerbread man into the computer.. I love how it turned out.. The peppermint twist I tried to do layers... Thanks for taking a peek... Hugs Maggie

Our market had five vendors for the last five years and we are now up to 19..lol I know thats not very much in the scheme of thngs...But its all that we have...ya work with what you have lol We had Fun days at the market this year.. it drew lots of people and sales were good..We are in need of other ideas... We had A Scarecrow building contest..all vendors supplied old clothes, then we auctioned the scarecrows off and the money was donated to a charity that the winner chose..or the person who built the scarecrow kept it them sleves..It was a blast... Corn eating...great turn out and sales were good. The last one was a pumpkin decorating, great success as well The vendors did pumpkin themed things like pumpkin cookies, muffins and me pumpkin soaps...Sales were great as well any one have any other ideas they would care to share..   19. I was reading that e-wax can be subbed with the BTMS-50. I also read that you use half as much as the e-wqx required..Has anyone done this and what were you ends results... I would like to try this is my down time, which is after my Xmas sales... All help, results will be greatly appreciated.. Hugs Maggie

  21. I am making clamshell tarts this might be a stooooopid ? I've read lots about curing your candles before burning, is there a curing time for clamshell tarts...before you close the clamshells.. All help will be so appreciated.. Hugs Maggie
  22. Sorry for the late update on the spray I couldn't remember the thread ..I used an acrylic spray and it is holding pretty well to not smudging..making it waterproof Thats sounds perfect.. Hugs Maggie
