    I just realized that I only said that I hope you guys with headaches feel better, I must have headaches on the brain, lol. I meant that I hope ALL of you with any bad effects ( nausea, dizziness, etc ) feel better, not only people with headaches !

    You know....I didn't connect this at the time but I just recently came off of a cycle of cluster headaches. Never got them before and was actually afraid that I had a brain tumor at first, before I found out what it was. Idk if you guys ever experience clusters but they are nicknamed the suicide headaches. On my affected side, that eye would water and that side of my nose would run, followed by the most horrific pain ever and I say this as someone who had two childbirths with no epidural or anything. I was really amping up my candle making prior to that...I'm now wondering if that served as a trigger ? The cycle lasted a few weeks, I was lucky...they last months for some. Hopefully we all get this sorted. I hope that you guys having headaches get much better very soon !

    I haven't tried that yet, no...when I think funnel cake, I think more along the lines of powdered sugar than cinnamon, so I will absolutely check out RE's, thank you so much for that rec ! i checked and it seems much more than true funnel cake than the others

    I'm looking for a Candied Apple that actually smells like a candied apple, not a dupe for the B&BW Winter Candy Apple. That just doesn't smell like a candied apple to me. I would also also like to find a funnel cake that isn't so heavy on the cinnamon ! I poured my funnel cake from Indigo yesterday and it basically smells like straight cinnamon to me Any suggestions would be much appreciated:)

    I tend to add my fragrance right after I mix the dye, so I add it around 170, 175 for my soy, and around 180 to 190 for my palm.

    We've all been there ! lol I lit mine right away at first also It doesn't help that I am impatient by nature. As far as the amount, it depends on the maximum level recommended for your particular wax. The general rule is 1 oz per lb of wax.

    That is very likely the problem right there. Soy needs a couple of weeks, usually...sometimes longer. A week at the very least.

    I get it totally, I looooove creamy orange in any form...creamsicle, orange vanilla, orange Marshmallow...now I need to go whip up a creamy orange tonight ?

    Hey, I don't mind at all, I did that to someone's post recently about a Strawberry someone brought up, lol ! My faves aside from their Pink Sugar is Caramel Coffee Cream ( it has also been a great thrower for me in Palm and soy ), Love Spell ( spot on ) Candy Corn, Candy Cane....they have a nice baby powder ! They have a super good lilac. I'm trying to figure out what all I've ordered from them over the years, lol...I truly don't recall getting any oil there that I didn't like. I wish that I could tell you I like their coconut but I never tried it. They had a coconut cream pie I loved back then, but I don't see it there anymore. If they still have Banana Nut Bread, that was good. Pumpkin Creme Brûlée is delicious ! Pineapple is good, Sweet Cherry smells like a cherry lifesaver to me. Froot Loops and Warm Vanilla Sugar is spot on, too.

    I use equal parts on all 3 for that one ! Cake Batter Ice Cream is one of my all time fave mixers !

    How much fragrance oil are you using and how long are you letting them cure ? It is super hard for me to leave them be, lol but you have to, especially with soy, IME...it is imperative.

    It has a slight blue raspberry/ grape note....my brother was amazed when I had him sniff it, he was like ' You know, I wouldn't think that there was a difference, but this does really smell more like blue cotton candy ' lol. I plan on layering it in a candle and melts with regular cotton candy soon

    Peach Waffle sounds decadent !! Lemon definitely is a great mixer, if you love sweet scents, blend a lemon curd oil with WSP Cake Batter Ice cream and Daystar's Marshmallow Fluff....lemony heaven, I swear....

    See, now you have me itching to try JS's Pink Sugar, lol. I just placed an order of two oils with them and I love them soooo much, I have been plotting another order since. Any other recs from JS ?

    I have only tried two, to be honest. WSP, which I do not recommend, smells nothing like Pink Sugar. And The Candle Source, which is spot on and a great thrower for me, in palm and in soy. So I just kind of stick with TCS's now

    I am very relieved to know that this happens to other people, lol ! I suppose there are worse things than coming up with great blends, eh ? Btw if you are playing with Pink Sugar soon, I also suggest maraschino cherry ! Another one that blends deliciously with it !

    Ohhhhh that does sound like an awesome blend, will need to try that, thank you ! Pink Sugar is one of my fave mixers, it is oddly amazing with Peppermint, lol. Also with blood orange & lime !

    The biggest joy of candle making for me is blending scents. It is a passion of mine...but sometimes, I actually drive myself insane with it, lol. My brain is always in ' blend, blend, blend ' mode and even if I am trying to relax, it always seems to be working overtime and involuntarily spitting out ideas at me. I actually had a dream last night that I was blending like 35% Pink Sugar and 65% Vanilla Voodoo ( yes, I was measuring it out on my little scale in my dream lol ) and just poured it and it does smell amazing ! Can't wait for it to cure ! But geez...sometimes I wish I could switch it off and relax...is anyone else like this, or am I completely insane ???
