  1. Trust me I know, at one point of my skincare business, I had crates full of oils and I sure wish I would've kept them for wax testing. Lots of testing and money with all these things if you care about the final product such as we do.
  2. I really appreciate it!! I just realized this was in the candle making section, I was mostly curious about scent throw and longevity for melts. I have been testing waxes for quite some time now and with all the good quality waxes available today, narrowing down a couple for blending gets a bit difficult. It seems as though, the FO is a huge culprit in the final outcome and overall the waxes seem to throw a quality FO well. Again, it comes down to being very picky when choosing a wax it seems like lately, at least for me. However, maybe I lucked out on the waxes that I am choosing to test.
  3. Any updates on this wax and how it compares to 6006?
  4. I have had amazing results with salt and FO in my warmers around my home. Does any vendor sell them specifically for warmers or would wax addicts find this too messy? It seems like alot of more "natural" lovers would rather warm salt to breath in vs wax. It also seems more cost efficient than wax. I do see wax sprinkles selling decent even though that can also get messy. Thoughts?
  5. I had no idea the new formula for Ecosoya was out yet?!
  6. I always got my cuties (when doing them in the past) from Bittercreek. Perfect amount of hair, size and adorable faces.
  7. Their site shows latest additions which seems to me like they are doing well enough to stay open. Is anyone still loving or uses this supplier consistently?

Welcome ! I agree with everything mentioned above, also "The Flaming Candle" has reasonably priced kits and free shipping bundles
  9. Welcome to the board and congrats to you and your business! Like with every supplier, they all have hits and misses. Therefore, even though you do not agree with some of the opinions towards this company, they are just that...opinions on personal preference. It is nice that MS seems to be your go to for everything, the more you can eliminate for shipping purposes, the better of course. I do agree that the shipping is fantastic and have heard good things about the clams. Thank you for your opinion and I hope you get a chance to post on other topics here as well, not just to promote MS company. As TallTayl stated, we wish all the luck to you.
  10. HAHA! I know what you mean about this forum making us do things, I think their term is enablers . I started with around 4 suppliers on my list to try, now I think after being on here, about triple that...for now!! I really have been wanting to try Millcreek lately.
  11. I have heard good things about their clams as well and that they do not have the bad plastic smell.
  12. I have noticed this as well. I honestly thought either 1. he is just trying to build his business and things really are that good or 2. it is too good to be true and that he takes a little bit of advantage over newbies that have no clue. Edit to add: I have heard several state that they use his wax, FOs and coloring with great results and then there are some more seasoned that state that the color chips fade quickly, the FO does not last but a few hours (even though very strong for those few hours) and that the wax is very similar to KY/JS tart wax blends.
  13. How many ounces do you experienced tart makers use at once to test if a blend and oil is good? Also how many warmers?
  14. Good choices, hard for me to choose also!! I like the simplicity yet elegance of #2, but the font of #1. I think it also depends on the crowd, some may like it more flashy and blingy such as #1 so either way you go, it will be lovely as always Trappeur
  15. May be a stupid question, but where would clipart play into this?
  16. I have only noticed free shipping bundles / kits offered.
  17. I contacted the realtor just one more time to hopefully clear up the confusion on her end or mine. Here is my question: "Hi Lisa, I literally even find myself ridiculous to keep contacting you on something that may not matter to you. However, I told some former Tennessee Candle customers that we are finally able to get our hands on their oils again from Maple Street. The owner of Maple Street responded to those same people stating that there is nothing to purchase from a fragrance oil supplier and that they do not carry their oils. If this is true, then who purchased their codes / business? Can you please clear this issue up for me by explaining?" and her response... "It was purchased and when I asked her if it was maple street she said yes so I guess she doesn't want me to know sorry for the confusion I was not part of that transaction" Well I am glad to know it was confusion on her part that was relayed to me. Good luck everyone on finding duplications and if you find a good oil similar to Tennessee quality, please of course spread the news
  18. As far as the companies such as RE listing which lines each oil is from, I feel is very very professional and honest. There is no reason to hide anything as it still gives them business at the end of the day with customers who appreciate the opportunity to choose as they wish for what works for their recipes. Lots of respect for companies like that. It is nice that the owner of MS stepped up and explained the situation even though I also agree that he did not need to reveal sources, but it does put things into perspective as far as the products they carry and his honesty. Also the steps he is willing to take in order to earn our trust and business. I hope you all find Tennessee oils eventually some way shape or form!
  19. Thank you, that truly is all I was trying to do is help everyone. I also did not post it to get people excited for nothing or just to be disappointed. If there was even a slight possibility that I thought she wasn't sure, I wouldn't have shared. As far as her response (I saved her texts) vs the owner of MS, very conflicting. Oh well, I am not trying to turn this into a big issue as it will only be me looked at badly in the end since I was technically the middle man.
  20. Thank you so much for clearing it up! I honestly was not trying to start rumors, I was just very excited to think we would be able to get our hands on some of their oils. Therefore, it was just as confusing to me as everyone else.
  21. It looks as though he (MS owner) states he did not buy them out. I asked an innocent question to the realtor that was helping Tennessee owners sell the business if the business was still available and she stated it was not as it was purchased. I asked where I can find their oils as many of their customers miss them. I asked if it was MS since he was speaking with the owners before they went out of business and she said I was correct. I don't know who to believe, but if he states there was nothing to buy, I guess it was a misunderstanding on the realtor part? I am not out to start trouble with that company, I will be purchasing from them as I am hearing great things, Tennessee oils or not.
  22. This is the owner of MS response to the matter "We do carry a ton of oils very similar to their line. We did not buy them out as some rumors apparently are flying about. There really isn't anything to buy out when a fragrance supplier closes. I can look into a tangerine and some additional raspberry types in addition to those we already offer. ;-)". Now it is really confusing, I feel like everything is always top secret. I understand that is what sets companies apart is the propriety blends and hush hush manufactures they purchase from, I do not expect specific details for those things. However, when it comes to something like this, you would think someone would be proud to say they carry some of their oils in order to drive more business?
