1. Ok, I'll chime in now LOL. I get those nifty containers from lacons, the web address is www.lacons.com/lacons.htm, but I don't get them on their site, I always click on their ebay button and use the buy it now to order smaller quanities. They ship super fast and the containers are the perfect size for about a nickel size of product. HTH Michelle Elle edit to say they do not have any of the ones listed on ebay I use but I did email him to see if he will be listing soon. I use the 1" hinged tops
2. UMM, I have never done the nylon ones, I do know that the luffah I use do not get moldy, nasty etc. Please don't give me anymore ideas, my brain is full of things I want to do constantly LOL
3. You can get the ornaments at hobby lobby or micheals, they have them in small, med and large IMO, if you leave out the witch hazel you will get less chance of puffing, any liquid added to the mix makes it more prone to puffing. I used to use a recipe similar to yours and it called for witch hazel and I swear I thought I was going to blow my brains out getting descent bombs. Now, I only use castor oil and I do use liquid color, but very little, that was I control any liquid in the mix. Good luck Elle
4. If you were to cut the loofahs in 1" slices then you get the seeds out good. I think I am definitely going to grow some next year, for the heck of it, they are so weird looking while growing
5. I think you mean when people want to know if it is natural, a chemical etc. and I am dumb founded as you are. Its like you can give an explantation on shea butter but when it comes to giving a definite description of cyclo I can't say "oh it comes from an %&(%% tree in Africa, really what is the stuff is it natural what is it derived from. If it is any conslolation, I have never had anyone say they don't want it because of my lack of info Does this confusion make sense? Elle:tongue2:
6. Very Cool, I can't get my balm labels that good looking for the life of me
7. butter is a more concentrated moisturizer due to only being the butters, no water etc Elle

oil

you can check to see if columbusfoods.com had any, they are very reasonable on oil Elle
9. You will be at a show until January!!!!!!!!!!!WOW
10. Cafe Cappuccino Fruit Slices blooming tulips, with huge water discount and new recipe , it was very thick when I poured, swirl non-existant
11. Those are beautiful, especially love the citrus. WOW
12. Make a basic olive oil soap for baby's gentle skin, also great since their skin can be more sensitive HTH
13. I pour my lotion bar in muffin tins and pop them out when hard, put them in tins for packaging, don't know how you would package an actual bar shaped lotion bar HTH
14. And the 4 oz still last and lasts. I market mine as room/body/linen/hair glosser, great seller!!!! People love the all in one concept Elle
15. I never go over 1 TBS pp. and a lot of times less, and I am complimented on h ow they smell when I make M&P. One thing to remember is if you start off light with the petals then as the soap sits and stays warm you can add some more to freshen up the soap HTH Elle
16. I agree with Edensong, shea will work wonders on her feet elle
17. I had the same problem you did with my lip balm, the shea got grainy, (even tried with Brambleberrys butter that they say does not get grainy, it does) then I switched to mango and it got grainy, they sold well because I marketed them as lightly exfoiation Ha Girls gotta do what she has to do (in fact keep getting order for it) Now I also make one similar to burt's bees, no shea or mango, I got it off of the PVS website, revised a little and I love it, not tight, not grainy, pure heaven. As for the tunneling, let them cool somewhat, top them off then hit the tubes lightly with a heat gun or blow dryer so that they seal together, if you don't do that the part you topped off with will just fall off bcz it is not melted with you original pour. HTH elle
18. It kind of looks like snow on the bars, very cool!!!!!!
19. I just started mixing my lye and water a day or two in advance and it works great elle
20. OOPs, sorry, I thought it started b4 adding FO etc, then it does sound like the FO you used Good Luck
21. I don't make anything B&B with flax, but it does go rancid very quickly if you ground it, I only buy in small batches, and ground a little at a time and freeze what is ground. I don't know if this helps at all ELLE
22. I don't know what made it seize, since you said you added the FO and lanolin after it starting seizing. I had that happen on my last batch of soap but I managed to get it all blended and just glopped into mold. You will have to really see how it looks after it is done, you will definitely be able to see the pockets of FO if they did not distribute of if they reacted weird with the already seizing soap Elle
23. I put samples in all my ebay and website orders and 9 times of 10, people end up purchasing the whipped shea butter, especially this time of year. My last show I decided to take some with me just for the heck of it ( I usually don't have room), I took 15 and they all sold the first day but 2 and they sold first thing the next day, I could have sold 30 or more, people were testing it all day and so disappointed we were out. Mine are 100 % shea butter, no oil etc, whipped and packaged in a 2 oz container, I sell them for $10.00. HTH Michelle
24. nope not working for me either
