  1. Right, and then once it is made in the USA nobody wants it because it is not only a $1, that is why the $1 stores do so well is because we all want it cheap and cheap is from China LOL
  2. Spellcast, You can either mix your UM in glycerine or oils from your soap, mix like heck to get the clumps out and then if you are swirling pull soap out of your pot and add to your UM/Oil mixture then swirl in the pot. Even if I am not swirling I still put some soap out and add to the mixture to give it time to start incorporating then I pour it in the soap and stir like heck. Also, make sure you are using enough UM, that was my problem in the beginning, since a color was so bright I would add a teaspoon of UM to a 6# batch and then be surprised there was no color. I have a really pretty lavender that you would thing a tsp. would be more than enough but no, I have to add around 2 T. to get a medium lavender color. Your soap is not eating your color it probably just needs more or mixed in better HTH Elle
  3. Wheres the pic? I keep checking back, can't wait to see it...please...please...please show us your soap
  4. Prairieannie...your lye can be room temp and if you are using only olive oil it can be at room temp as well, if using other "hard" oils they only have to be warm enough to keep them "liquified". When I make my olive oil soap I make everything at room temp. Just an FYI on oil/lye temps, they don't have to be 100 degrees etc for future reference. Like yours, My first batch never traced either, I stirred for hours, I finally threw it in a mold and next day it was soap:yay: Go figure Elle
  5. GORGEOUS..I have never smelled that EO, what does it smell like?
  6. The Amazing Grace is a Philosophy dupe, it is a very light floral, I have not had a person not like it yet, but there could be some. Try a small one, I don't CP it, it does not hold up well because it is so light. Elle
  7. Thought of another once looking again...Mardi Gras (spelling??) Elle
  8. Sandalwood is a dead on dupe, Sandalwood Vanilla to die for, Amazing Grace one of my best-sellers, Lemon Sugar very nice
  9. Ok, I am making baskets up for VDAY, I am not the best at them, I am putting 5 of my best-sellers in the basket. The problem is I STINK at baskets. I need help, I never seem to get products up high enough or arranged nicely. The real problem is the basket bags and shrink wrap, I am terrible at both. Any suggestion? I remember seeing baskets on the gallery that were superb, how do you shrink wrap them without having them look bulky? Any help at all would be appreciated. TIA Elle *** Is this in the right area? If not, please move
  10. For the white I would try to go with another very clean scent. How about Clean Cotton, Cotton Blossom, Love Spell ( I know, not clean, but classic for wedding favors), Pixie Dust, Amazing Grace... I totally agree about the WT&G being unisex, men love it! Elle
  11. That is beautiful, you are very creative. I like the name "Fruit Loops" LOL

  16. Got my target molds today, going to make bath melts for my baskets. OMG...I go nuts in the $1 area everytime I go, in fact, that is the only part I went to today...they had adorable ribbon...tons of desk organizing items...and my favorite, pink measuring cups and spoons, I just love pink Elle
  17. I normally use Lavender vanilla B&BW dupe from From Nature with Love, it smell wonderful and is great in CP, but this is the only thing I get from them and it is expensive. Does anyone know of another supplier that has this same great scent and it is CP compatible TIA Elle
  18. That could also be part of your problem getting certain FO to mix, you m ay be adding to much FO. Try making the sweet pea with 1/8 tsp to 4 oz of Cyclo and see what happens. There is a good chance it will mix and be strong enough. Comng from someone who used to over scent this helps a lot. I remember the fist Pink Sugar Dry Oil Spray I made with cyclo, OMG, so cloudy, kept sepereating and I my nose would not stop itching it was so strong Hope this works for you, let us know Elle
  19. I have the one from NG and it is a very good seller, I have never smelled VS but this one smells great, holds great in CP and dry oil sprays HTH Elle
  20. Just an FYI, I just put in my order for Pink Sugar (she has the best) and the Satsuma with SNC and she called me within minutes asking what samples I wanted and that my order would go out fed ex today, also go my invoice within next couple minutes. So you guys may want to get an order together, sounds like she is caught up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Michelle EDITED to say-all oils are 10 % off until end of January due to the inconvenience of her site being down last week YIPPEE
  21. Great job...your wholesale customers will love the special attention and ease of ordering Elle
  22. Has anyone used bulkoils FO in CP soap?
  23. The directions for this paticular recipe said to microwave all ingredients until all melted, including water. The othe ingredients were e-wax, glycerin, vit e. I did add preservative but after mixture cooled some.
  24. Another company that has excellent CS is WSP, I know they have high prices and high shipping but anytime I ever had anything wrong with my order they would next day it to me, no ???? asked and one time I put in an order on the website and accidentally ordered the wrong FO and called them and they were nice enough to change it for me, a lot of companies will not let you change anything once the order was in. They also let me call and add to an order one time which is a big no no with a lot of companies, they don't make it a regular thing but they do know the "things happen" and are flexible. I really hope everything turns out ok for you and you are able to get your products from one or two sources and don't have to order from tons just to get what you need. Good Luck Michelle
